"Supply and Demand!"

 

Hebrews 12:3-6 (Amplified Bible)

Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds. You have not yet struggled and fought agonizingly against sin, nor have you yet resisted and withstood to the point of pouring out your [own] blood. And have you [completely] forgotten the divine word of appeal and encouragement in which you are reasoned with and addressed as sons? My son, do not think lightly or scorn to submit to the correction and discipline of the Lord, nor lose courage and give up and faint when you are reproved or corrected by Him; For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes.

From time to time, I am reminded by God's WORDs, that Christ is my Source, providing strength and courage to avoid becoming overwhelmed by the trials I face daily in my life.

I diligently seek to be Refreshed daily, Returning to my Source, to gain endurance and encouragement.

God is continually supplying me with HIS Spirit, which reveals my deepest needs, in the face of those daily demands upon my heart.

Submitting to HIS Will, for HIS WORD to replenish me, I experience HIS Joy and Peace, because Christ suffered extreme opposition for me.

My choice is now focused on receiving HIS TRUTH and proclaiming HIS Victory over sin to others!!!

 

Father, as I look to YOU for comfort,
my sufferings are lifted from my path!
YOUR Spirit fills my heart,
with a deeper Love for YOU!!
Pour into my heart YOUR rivers of Joy,
an overflow that meets each demand upon my life!!!

 

O'Lord, YOU are the Rock upon which I rest!!!
