"A Place of HIS Beginning!"

 

Romans 10:9-13 (New International Version)

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

For me to follow Christ and be HIS disciple, I 1st must have an understanding of God's ORDER and learn to excersize each step correctly and with a heart of Obedience.

So many times, I have looked to Salvation as the beginning or starting point, WHEN IN REALITY, Salvation is the Prize or Treasure of my life's quest!

The Apostle Paul outlined very clearly what I must do to receive God's Promise of Salvation;

Confess with my mouth,
'Jesus is Lord!'
and Believe in my heart,
God raised HIM from the grave of death!

It is not by coincidence that Paul came to know Christ by beginning his journey of Faith by starting on a dust covered road which lead him into the city of Damascus, and not from his final days of life imprisoned in Rome!

Neither should I believe that my walk each day with Christ begins in spiritual bondage, no closer to my heavenly destination, for I would have not followed God's ORDER, nor understood what my Faith in Christ will bring into my life's journey with HIM along the way!

 

O'Lord, YOUR plan for my life is set before me,
I must follow YOU, faithfully each step of the way!
Each day may I gain more understanding,
of YOU and the Treasure for which I earnestly seek!!
I look towards YOUR Promised Prize of Salvation,
with HOPE, Excitement and Great Joy,
unashamed to believe in YOUR WORD as TRUTH!!!

 

O'Lord, make my pathway straight,
and daily lead me towards my eternal home,
in HIS Blessed and Holy name I pray!
