"Weeds and Bad Seed!"

"One Worthless, the Other Fruitless!"

Mark 4:18-19 (New International Version)

(Jesus speaking) Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.

Christ taught HIS disciples by using many parables, which requires spiritual discernment to understand, and is necessary to expose and reveal the true objective of the unrighteous who were in their midst.

Harvest time reveals the TRUE fruit of God's WORD, which when it is planted in good soil, produces the 30, 60 and even a 100 fold return.

A few verses later, Jesus says in Mark 4:20

Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown."

Weeds choke out the good seed, but are left to grow alongside until harvest, and at that time they are pulled up by the root and thrown into a fire and burned.

Servants of Righteousness despise weeds, and know the nutrition robbing effect they have on a healthy and growing fruitbearing crop.

Weeds and bad seed do one thing alike, they MULTIPLY!

As the good seed grows and multiplies good fruit, weeds and bad seed produce the opposite,,,,,

NOTHING!

Jesus spoke concerning the faithful servants who prune the vines in the vineyard to remove the suckers that rob the plants of abundant produce, and which gathers filth and garbage that rots and decays those vines.

But what about bad seeds that exist in the bag with the good seed?

Should not those same faithful servants likewise cull the seed which is unproductive, stealing from the good seed, both nutrition and growth and could quite possibly infect the field with fruit rot?

We must also do something with those unfaithful servants, working ONLY to receive from the Master, a provision, a prophecy or a blessing, rather than working as co-heirs alongside the SON, neither interested in the welfare of the crop nor of the Father's Business!

O'Lord, YOUR faithful servant I desire to be,
feeding and clothing me from YOUR abundant wealth!
Into the fields and vineyards of YOUR Kingdom,
am I placed to work and serve only YOU, O'Lord!!
Prepare both my hands and heart,
to faithfully share the Good Seed of YOUR WORD!!!

Amen!
