The Apostle Luke records Jesus speaking to HIS disciples about accepting and following HIM as Lord and Savior in Faith, and the Victory that would be gained by standing firm through every trial and persecution that was yet to come.

As a result of their persecutions and oppressions, they would be a witness of Christ and HIS WORDs of Truth.

Many disciples heard the WORDs of Jesus that day, and later in their lives when they faced circumstances exactly as Jesus prophesied, they rejoiced for having been found standing firm in their Faith in Christ.

Whatever I may face as a Believer in Christ, whether it be betrayal by friends or family, persecution by officals in authority or suffering death at the hands of my enemies, I will remember it was HIS disciples who faced all these and more, being found faithful as witnesses, true and dedicated to God's calling and purpose for their lives.

I too desire to be found standing firm, both faithful and true, guilty of being a witness of Christ, leaving no doubt as to my committment and dedication to my resurrected Lord and Savior.

O'Lord, YOUR WORDs comfort my heart and soul, they are soothing and sweet upon my lips! I will Rejoice, shouting Hallelujah, giving Praise to my Savior and Lord!! That YOU suffered and died for me, for in my suffering and bondage, YOU have set me free!!! Use my life now, preparing me as YOUR witness forever!
