The Apostle John writes these Holy Spirit inspired WORDS as a Witness of who Christ Jesus is, and a warning to all who believe in HIM that deceiving spirits continually work to destroy the witnesses of The Resurrected Lord.

Christ Jesus, who earlier also warns those who follow HIM of the many false prophets and deceivers of the Truth, who are going out into the world proclaiming that Jesus could not be the Messiah and Savior, nor the Son of God.

John, while writing this letter, reminds us of those WORDs spoken by Christ, and gives instruction whereby all Believers in Christ are able to test the unholy and deceiving spirit of the antichrist.

It takes a forehand knowledge of who Christ is, and what HIS life accomplished through HIS death and resurrection, and that knowledge comes only from Holy Spirit, the True Witness of God and HIS Son.

As God spoke through the mouth of the Old Testament prophet in Hosea 4:6,

"my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge", Then I must acknowledge these 2 points of God's WORD that remain TRUE to this very day; (#1)Without having Holy Spirit for the discernment necessary to test these spirits, no TRUE witness can speak of Christ as God's Son, Resurrected, Living or otherwise and (#2)True Witnesses of Christ, believing HIM as the only begotten Son of God, being taught with Power and Authority and being guided by Holy Spirit, are the only TRUE witnesses who have Knowledge through Faith equal to that of the Apostles John, Peter and Paul.

The Apostle John concludes in the following verses,

1 John 4:4-6; You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

It is then wise for me to speak with my mouth, the WORDs of TRUTH and Knowledge revealed and inspired by Holy Spirit within my heart, bearing Witness of Christ, who sits at God's Right Hand ready to administer God's Judgement against the spirit of the antichrist, and his false witnesses that are going out into the world today.

 

Father, YOUR Son is my Lord and King of Glory, none other is or will ever be like HIM! Speak through my lips, YOUR WORDs of Life, TRUTH that destroys the enemy, overcoming every evil for eternity!! YOUR Spirit fills me to overflowing, with WORDs of Knowledge, that I must speak as a witness, of YOUR Son, Christ Jesus who gave HIS Life and is Resurrected, seated on the throne of my heart!!!
