"Gifts of Grace!"

"Measured by Faith!"

Romans 12:3-8 (New International Version)

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

What I sometimes see as irrational, irresponsible and even on the borderline of childish ignorance, is my complete understanding of the unifying works of the Gifts of Grace, which as a Believer were given to me by God through Holy Spirit for operation in and through the Body of Christ, HIS Church.

Not for the sake of starting an argument---there seems to be enough already to go around-----

But RATHER for a Confirmation or Completion without error in the WORD of God---

Was there a part of the above scripture in the Apostle Paul's letter left out?

(I am writing the following sentence as a question)-----

INSERT THE FOLLOWING BETWEEN VERSEs 8 & 9,

'if a believer's gift is unknown to him, then he SHOULD NOT DO OR SAY ANYTHING, THEN there will be NO division or confusion among the body of believers concerning the above mentioned Gifts of Grace, because it would be better to have many members watching the others who have those Gifts of Grace, than to not have a larger number of members period...'

The Body of Christ, with all of it's members operating in unity, is compared to the human body, Created in Perfection by God, each of it's members having been given sufficient abilities to perform multiple tasks.

Rather than being conclusive in this area in his letter, was it not Paul's purpose and intent to identify and provide instruction for me in the Knowledge and Understanding of the useful service that I received as an heir in the Kingdom of God, rendering spiritual service as well as physical service to other believers having all these in common?

There is ONE thing that I do irrevocablly know, I should NEVER, EVER, add to, take away or even try to subsidize God's WORD only to justify my inaction or indifference to the Completed Work of Christ, or the ongoing work of Holy Spirit in my own life, or the life of other believers who are as I profess to be, a member of HIS ONE BODY, HIS CHURCH!

Father, YOUR Spirit is complete in every good work,
where I am weak, YOU make me strong and useful!
Created by YOU for fellowship and worship,
used by YOU to labor in the field of harvest!!
Transforming my heart by Holy Spirit,
renewing my mind with YOUR thoughts and desires!!!
Increase my portion and measure of Faith,
because to me YOUR Grace is sufficient, O'Lord!

Amen!
