"Suffering HIS Name!"

"Brings Eternal Victory!"

Acts 5:41-42 (New International Version)

The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.

As the Apostle Luke tells of both sufferings and persecutions that followed the early 1st century believers as they were obedient to serving Christ, I realize more each day, that not that much has changed.

Realizing that those who follow and serve Christ, speaking and teaching HIS Truth and Righteousness, have been and most likely will continue to be openly despised, ridiculed and tormented by others who only have a carnal knowledge of HIS Truth, yet defiantly continue refusing to accept and submit themselves to the spiritual authorities that are set in place by God.

These scriptures are evidence that one's obedience and submission to the Will and Purpose of God, has and will forever overcome both the resentment and resistance which comes from those who portray a religious and pious attitude, refusing to submit to the Power and Authority of Holy Spirit.

Only one path to Truth and Righteousness has been given to us, that is in Christ Jesus, where each and every man will humbly bow their knee on that Day of the Lord in submission before HIM, and receive the eternal judgement for their actions from a Holy and Righteous God.

The temporal judgement and punishment that obedient and faithful believers now suffer at the hands of cruel and wicked men, must be an inspiration for greater rejoicing and unwavering dedication to proclaiming the Good News, that Christ Jesus is Lord indeed, of both heaven and earth.

O'Lord, grant YOUR servants abundant strength,
to withstand the torments of this day and hour!
May I be found worthy to speak YOUR Truth,
against all opposition, strife and persecution!!
Though sorrows are for a short time only,
Rejoicing and Victory comes in the morning,
where YOUR Spirit will lead me, I will follow!!!
YOUR Name is to be Praised above all names,
as YOUR Will is being done here on earth,
by those who serve and obey YOUR Son!

Amen!
