Volume XII, Page XI

"Winning the Struggle!"

"Continue in Labor!"

Colossians 1:28-29 (New International Version)

We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.

The Apostle Paul refers to the commission that he and all believers have been given by God, that of proclaiming, teaching and also encouraging everyone.

My personal thought is that Paul was not limiting his ministry to only those who believed in Christ, but was explaining that he continued to faithfully labor with all of the Power and Strength given him by Holy Spirit.

To him, it was bringing the greatest news of Salvation and Hope through Christ Jesus to a world of people outside the invisible boundaries that are often set in place by our own design.

Whatever the case may be, I must remember that Christ gave HIS life for the whole world, and the whole world must hear about it.

I must struggle, as all of the 1st century apostles and disciples did, to further the message of Christ to everyone, breaking down any barriers that might have been set against me by the enemy of God.

O'Lord, YOUR Power will strengthen me today,
overcoming all obstacles and barriers in my life!
They are no match for YOUR Spirit of Power,
and are unable to stop me or YOUR WORD!!
Prepare the hearts of those who must hear,
of how Christ gave HIS all for each and everyone!!!

Hallelujah!!! Glory to HIS Name!
Amen!
