I read this passage and have to realize that Jesus was speaking not only to those who were in HIS very Presence that day, but HE is also speaking to me 2000 years later.

Seeing HIM, through the eyesight into the spiritual realm given only by Holy Spirit, will I ever be able to truly see HIS Majestic Glory and the fulfilled Hope of everlasting life.

While Jesus raised Lazarus after being 4 days in the grave of death , HIS Promise that even I would be ressurected with HIM through HIS own death and resurrection, I rejoice in knowing I will see firsthand God's Glory, also having received that promised firstfruit of Holy Spirit.

The Apostle Paul says in Romans 8:23,

"Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies."

I can be assured by God's WORD that believing in Christ, as my Lord and Savior, eagerly waiting to see HIS Glorious Day of Redemption.

 

Father, YOU are merciful and so good to me! My Faith grows stronger each day, knowing YOUR WORD fills my hungry heart!! Open the eyes of those who seek, that they also may see YOUR Glory!!!

 

 

HE alone is worthy of all my Praise! Amen!
