Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
The Apostle Paul writes here of the Eternal TRUTH of Holy Spirit, speaking against every false teaching that a certain time or dispensation of God's Spirit had once existed, therefore leaving Believers in Christ empty and void of HIS Glory, Majesty and Power.
The punishment of transgression against God's Law was only fulfilled by death, and Christ HIMself bore my punishment on Calvary's cross.
God's Law remains in effect until HIS Glorious Day of Appearing, when Christ HIMself returns to Judge both the living and the dead.
HE instituted a New and Better Covenant, by HIS WORDs and through HIS Spirit, fufilling the Law's required punishment for my transgression against God, substituting HIS own Life on my behalf.
It is HIS blood which HE sprinkled upon the Sacred Altar in heaven, fulfilling both the Atonement and Absolution of my transgression.
These are Christ' own WORDs recorded by the Apostle Matthew
Christ spoke of the righteousness or godliness of the Pharisees and teachers of the Law which came only by completely observing the Law of God, without transgression, every letter and stroke of a pen, being mortally impossible except for Christ.
Where through Christ and HIS WORDs, as are recorded by the Apostle Paul, explaining the Power of Holy Spirit, and how HE will JUDGE those who through false teaching deny Holy Spirit, the Sovereign Power of God which brings Life, transfiguring and transforming me from one degree of HIS Glory into another.
Understanding HIS TRUTH which is only taught by Holy Spirit to Believers in Christ, is tHIS TRUTH revealed, being both a mystery and foolishness to those who deny the Cross of Christ and what HE fulfilled, but was never abolished by HIM nor HIS Spirit.
