"FriendSHIP!"
Relationship in Christ!"

John 15:14 (Amplified Bible) (Jesus speaking) You are My friends if you keep on doing the things which I command you to do.

'What a friend we have in Jesus' and 'I am a friend of God',
are 2 of my most favorite songs which I enjoy singing.
They speak of my 'Relationship' with God's Son, who said in the preceeding verse of scripture,
No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends.
The boats or 'SHIPs' of Jesus' day, were not the large and luxurious yachts that we have today.
They were much smaller and compact in comparison, and those who shared passage in one of them, had to have a 'TRUE' friendly 'Relationship' with his traveling companions.
In my day to day comings and goings, I speak many times of my 'Close and Dear' friends to everyone that I make contact with,
but do I speak of as often and introduce to them my 'Dearest and Best Friend' with whom I will share eternity in God's Holy Presence???
My deepest 'FriendSHIP' is that of my 'Relationship' with Christ Jesus,
'a friend to the publicans and sinners', and as the Apostle Paul so selfLESSly wrote, 'of them all, I am the chief of sinners'!
Jesus had 'Fellowship' with men and women of all 'walks of life',
but it is the 'New Life' that I found only in HIM, that has everlasting and eternal value.
Today there are many who have never met Christ Jesus, not having been introduced to HIM by those who claim
to call HIM their 'Closest and Dearest Friend'.
I must take every opportunity that I am afforded in this life, introducing HIM to as many as I can, telling them of the deep and meaningfull 'FriendSHIP' I have with Jesus, as it is in HIM with whom
'my soul has found great Joy, Peace and Everlasting Life'!
More of who Christ IS to me!
          MORE like HIM,
                      I desire to be!!
                      Some day SOON, with HIM I will BE!!!

O'Lord, YOU created me to have fellowship with, sweet and filling are YOU and YOUR WORD!! My hunger for a TRUE friend is satisfied by YOUR Son who gave HIS Life as a ransom for me!! All of my days ahead must be committed to YOU, telling others of YOUR Son and HIS Love for them!!! HE bore upon HIMself all my sin and grief, and patiently HE listens to me with Compassion and Love , Only through HIM and HIS Precious Blood, am I forgiven, cleansed and made whole! YOU O'Lord have set me Free, YOU are my closest Friend!
How Deep and How Wide, is YOUR Love for me?
Deeper than the oceans, and wider than the skies!!!
