"A Life IN Faith!"
Whenever I read the Apostle Luke's account of Saul's life changing transformation in Acts chapter 9, I receive a greater understanding of why Paul later desired earnestly to write so passionately of his life now being lived out--IN Faith.
Where before Saul was living an example of devout conformity to God's Law, he now writes of his life as directed by Holy Spirit, God's Power who reveals and confirms Christ as Savior and Lord, fulfillment of the Law's intent and purpose.
As Paul writes of his complete surrender and total reliance upon the Truth of God's WORD, he describes the depth of his Faith in Christ to his countrymen. This revelation which God desires to make known to everyone, even to those slanderers and persecutors of Faith, which Paul clearly admits was once his vocation.
Many of the Old Testament writers account the details of men whom God persuaded to turn from their wickedness, and serve HIM in complete submission, only to record later where many of them returned to their former way of life.
I must receive with all gladness this understanding of Faith, for God created in every man the choice to live by Faith.
My Faith being established and strengthened by Holy Spirit, God gave me HIS Power to live as Paul says, in Faith, by Faith and as Faith, when the world and everything around me attempts to point me away from this Truth.
Believing in Christ Jesus, for my daily encouragement and inspiration, as God's Promise is an WORK ongoing within me, guiding me towards living in a deeper level of Faith, where instead of being under the burdens of the Law which only quarantees death, I am promised an Eternal Life as I live unashamedly in the goodness of HIS Gospel!
