"Freedom Reigns!"

2 Timothy 2:7-9 (Amplified Bible) Think over these things I am saying [understand them and grasp their application], for the Lord will grant you full insight and understanding in everything. Constantly keep in mind Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [as] risen from the dead, [as the prophesied King] descended from David, according to the good news (the Gospel) that I preach. For that [Gospel] I am suffering affliction and even wearing chains like a criminal. But the Word of God is not chained or imprisoned!

The Apostle Paul's letter to Timothy reminds me that in keeping my thoughts focused on Christ and the Freedom HE obtained for my soul, a KEY has been provided and is fully revealed to my understanding and insight by Holy Spirit.
John, the Beloved Disciple recorded Jesus' own WORDs regarding Freedom,
John 8:36 (NASB) "So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed..."
Peter was held in prison and bound in chains, heavily guarded behind locked prison doors, yet God released him,
Acts 12:6-7 (Amplified Bible) The very night before Herod was about to bring him forth, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, fastened with two chains, and sentries before the door were guarding the prison. And suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared [standing beside him], and a light shone in the place where he was. And the angel gently smote Peter on the side and awakened him, saying, Get up quickly! And the chains fell off his hands.
God's plan of deliverance awaits all who desire Freedom, the KEYs offered by the Gospel are much similar to keys which unlock both physical chains and the doors of this world's most secure prison.
The Gospel affords to all who will accept HIS principles as Truth, bringing forth a Reign of Freedom in my mind and heart.
It is this Liberty which destroys those spiritual 'chains', which once hold my thoughts and emotions captive and in darkness, and HIS Light breaks through and guides me through doors and down streets lined with golden opportunities in which to proclaim HIS Salvation.

O'Lord, incline YOUR ear to hear my prayer, direct my footsteps by YOUR Spirit, into streets both near and faraway! Open the eyes and ears of those who seek Life, release their hearts and minds O'Lord, from their grief and pain, suffering in despair, I pray!! YOUR angels shout forth heaven's glad tidings of Joy, a gift, a Savior and a King has been given to men!!! May they receive HIM and be set free to live, their days in Peace, a Victory HE purchased with HIS Precious Blood!
