In God's WORD I find confirmation of Jesus as being God's Son, where in 3 of the 4 Gospels written it is recorded that only angels had spoken to man during a 400 year period from Malachi to Matthew.

Angels of the Lord had proclaimed John's birth to his parents, Zechariah and Elizabeth, the forerunner who would prepare the hearts of the people to recieve Jesus as the long awaited Messiah.

It had also been that angels of the Lord had spoken to Mary, proclaiming that she would have a child, and HE IS God's Son.

The shepherds saw and heard angels of the Lord sounding forth from the heavens, that God gave mankind a Son and HE alone is the Savior and King of all heaven and earth.

BUT it was on this day, when a crowd had gathered on the banks of the Jordan River, and quite possibly this was the very spot where the Israelite people had been guided by God's Spirit into the Promised Land, did mankind hear God HIMself speak these WORDs concerning HIS Son.

I myself find 'deLIGHT' in these WORDs, that of God HIMself speaking from heaven, such an earth shaking Announcement of this magnitude, and that HIS Spirit of Power came to rest upon Jesus, where on that day and even to this day, many would rather choose to die in their 'wilderness of hopelessness', on the opposite side of the 'River' than to accept Christ Jesus by Faith.

Luke 3:6 (Amplified Bible) And all mankind shall see (behold and understand and at last acknowledge) the salvation of God (the deliverance from eternal death decreed by God).

The voices of those angels of the Lord may have been silenced in the ears of the evil one, but when God spoke of HIS Son, Christ Jesus,

every created thing in the heavens above and upon the earth below heard HIS Voice, I AM and in My Son, I AM well pleased, and HE IS My deLIGHT! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>|||<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

O'Lord, YOUR Voice speaks of Light, YOUR WORD of Truth, in Power and of Might! May every heart know and understand this day, YOU spoke through John, of Jesus as The WAY!! YOUR Voice is like a river, rushing and deep, let not my eyes be dim or as asleep!!! But place in my mouth YOUR WORDs of Mercy and Grace, that many will find HIM who Lights YOUR Holy Place! YOUR Kingdom IS Power and Truth to my soul, and in YOUR Son I am made complete and whole!!

In YOU, the River of Life I have found, HIM who places my feet on solid ground! None other but HIM must I Serve and Obey, for HE alone is Lord, my Everlasting Way! Amen! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>|||<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
