"In Christ, Life is Gain!"
There are many Believers in Christ who as the Apostle Paul did, experience many hardships and trials, all for the sake of HIS name and for their WORK in HIS Kingdom.
As Christians, we must only look at these experiences with gratefullness, as all the Glory and Honor must be given to our heavenly Father.
For it is through our deliverance from these times, which as with Paul, which will speak louder of HIS Mercy and Grace than a multitude of our own words could ever be able to express.
As Paul acknowledges his own weaknesses, it is his intention to share with his readers, the overwhelming provision of God, before, during and after these difficult times.
We may find it difficult in some ways, to completely understand what Paul means by 'visions and revelations', but by HIS WORD and HIS Spirit, many Believers know without doubt or reservation, God still 'speaks' to us!
I must not becomes so consumed with the expression, 'visions and revelations', that I overlook or even dismiss what it is that God desires for me to 'see and know' of HIS Eternal Provision of Grace and Mercy through Christ Jesus.
I find that it is more beneficial for me and the church, that I be Faithful to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel, as the Apostle Paul declares, than to 'boast' of any 'vision or revelation' that comes to me strictly for my personal confirmation and encouragement.
Placing such in the correct order, Paul instructs that we should Praise and Glorify the Lord our God, and then by our testimonies, will these 'signs and wonders' be of some benefit to the WORK of HIS church, the Kingdom of God advancing throughout the earth.
