"The Vision of the Gospel!"
Luke takes every effort to record the travels of the Apostle Paul, as he and the other disciples continue proclaiming the Kingdom of heaven throughout the nations.
Holy Spirit had earlier revealed to Paul in a vision, the immense persecution and trials that he and the other disciples were to soon face for their committment and determination to advance the Gospel.
As a believer, I am to live by the example which Christ Jesus set before me in the recorded WORDs of the New Testament, yet there is such division as to whether the Acts of the 1st century Apostles and Disciples are equally as relevant to the future that I might face as a Believer in Christ.
Whenever spiritual insight is given by God's Spirit, serious heed must be taken as to it's certain relevance to all future plans for which God has called men and women to Faithfully and Obediently serve HIM.
Entrusting each as he did Paul and the other Disciples, with the ministry of faithfully declaring Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord to peoples and nations everywhere.
As Luke further writes, Paul and many of the other disciples underwent exactly those events which Holy Spirit had revealed in the vision many years before.
This revealing of future appointments, must guide me to see and understand God's desire for me as HIS Will and Purpose, closely directing me in spiritual understanding of HIS WORD, this continues even today to be the role of Holy Spirit.
The specifics of those events are but proof in the sense of historical record, just the same as those events recorded of Christ and HIS LIFE, yet every care must be taken to discern God's Power over the destiny of my life, as I submit Obediently to HIS Authority and Leadership.
Guidance by HIS Spirit, gives positive proof of revelation as each vision concerning my future imparts a deeper Knowledge of HIS WORD, therefore I must boldly follow in Faith HIS directions as did Paul, Luke and many other Believers have for over 2000 years.
