December 2007 'A Warrior's Daily Journal'

Tuesday December 4, 2007       "A Messenger of God's Truth!" Romans 1:16 (Amplified Bible) For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God's power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek, Compromising the Truth of Christ Jesus had no place in the Apostle Paul's life, as he accepted the mandate placed upon him and proclaimed boldly the Good News which God had earlier empowered him to preach throughout the world.

Wednesday December 5, 2007       "A Messenger of God's Truth!" Romans 1:17 (Amplified Bible) For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith." Just like the Apostle Paul, and the many Believers in Christ, we are placed by God into specific circumstances so that we may live day to day by Faith, knowing each new day brings varied opportunities to serve HIM and fulfill God's purpose as HIS messengers bearing the Good News of Salvation.

Thursday December 6, 2007       "My Provider!" Luke 12:30-32 (Amplified Bible) (Jesus speaking) For all the pagan world is [greedily] seeking these things, and your Father knows that you need them. Only aim at and strive for and seek His kingdom, and all these things shall be supplied to you also.... I find these WORDs of Christ Jesus directing my heart towards 2 distinct principles of HIS Kingdom, one is to seek with all effort God's intent for my soul, and the other being how I must live in accordance to HIS Will, as I am an appointed heir and joint heir of an everlasting inheritance.

Friday December 7, 2007       "Freedom Reigns!" 2 Timothy 2:7-9 (Amplified Bible) (Jesus speaking) Think over these things I am saying [understand them and grasp their application], for the Lord will grant you full insight and understanding in everything. Constantly keep in mind Jesus Christ .... The Apostle Paul's letter to Timothy reminds me that in keeping my thoughts focused on Christ and the Freedom HE obtained for my soul, a KEY has been provided and is fully revealed to my understanding and insight by Holy Spirit.

Monday December 10, 2007       "Things to Talk About!" 1 Corinthians 10:1-2 (Amplified Bible) FOR I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, that our forefathers were all under and protected by the cloud [in which God's Presence went before them], and every one of them passed safely through the [Red] Sea, And each one of them [allowed himself also] to be baptized into Moses in the cloud .... Under the direct and divine inspiration of God's Spirit, Moses had guided the Israelites out of Egypt, from under the bondage and persecution they had suffered, and in this letter to the Corinthians, the Apostle Paul writes a WORD of Knowledge.

Tuesday December 11, 2007       "Well Pleased in deLIGHT!" Luke 3:22 (Amplified Bible) And the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came from heaven, saying, You are My Son, My Beloved! In You I am well pleased and find delight! In God's WORD I find confirmation of Jesus as being God's Son, where in 3 of the 4 Gospels written it is recorded that only angels had spoken to man during a 400 year period from Malachi to Matthew.

Wednesday December 12, 2007       "Bathed by HIS Holy Fire!" Titus 3:4-7 (Amplified Bible) .....but because of His own pity and mercy, by [the] cleansing [bath] of the new birth (regeneration) and renewing of the Holy Spirit, Which He poured out [so] richly upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. The Apostle Paul's letter to Titus contains some of God's deepest revelation as to the 'cleansing' Power of Holy Spirit.

Thursday December 13, 2007       "A Weapon of Mass Deliverance!" Hebrews 4:12 (Amplified Bible) For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line..... These WORDs inspired by Holy Spirit and recorded by the writer of Hebrews, reaffirms what the majority of the 1st century Apostles and Disciples were proclaiming as Truth.

Friday December 14, 2007       "LOVE, an Everlasting Gift!" John 6:40 (Amplified Bible) (Jesus speaking) For this is My Father's will and His purpose, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day. From the age of childhood, to the child of any age, whenever a gift is given or received, whether for a birthday, anniversary or any other memorable occasion, the size and shape should not matter so much as when compared to the thoughtful expression of Love.

Monday December 17, 2007       "In Christ, Life is Gain!" 2 Corinthians 12:1 (Amplified Bible) TRUE, THERE is nothing to be gained by it, but [as I am obliged] to boast, I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. There are many Believers in Christ who as the Apostle Paul did, experience many hardships and trials, all for the sake of HIS name and for their WORK in HIS Kingdom.

Tuesday December 18, 2007       "A Comparison!" Galatians 6:4 (Amplified Bible) But let every person carefully scrutinize and examine and test his own conduct and his own work. He can then have the personal satisfaction and joy of doing something commendable [in itself alone] without [resorting to] boastful comparison with his neighbor. As these WORDs given by inspiration of Holy Spirit to the Apostle Paul, I am directed to examine and compare my actions and thoughts, not by the lives others who are no more or less as I am seeking Truth and Righteousness, but towards Christ who IS TRUTH and RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Wednesday December 19, 2007       "Advancing Towards Maturity!" Hebrews 6:1 (Amplified Bible) THEREFORE LET us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ (the Messiah), advancing steadily toward the completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual maturity..... Having no known writer, the Book of Hebrews is an 'Authored' by 'Inspired' revelation of God's WORD through Holy Spirit, just as any other of the selected New Testament writings.

Thursday December 20, 2007       "Be Comforted!" Hebrews 13:2 (Amplified Bible) Do not forget or neglect or refuse to extend hospitality to strangers [in the brotherhood--being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously], for through it some have entertained angels without knowing it. The entire New Testament is written as a testimony of Christ and God's transforming Power of Holy Spirit, written as a confirmation that my heart is abundantly filled with HIS Grace and Love.

Friday December 21, 2007       "FOR-Giving!" 2 Corinthians 9:9-10 (Amplified Bible) As it is written, He [the benevolent person] scatters abroad; He gives to the poor; His deeds of justice and goodness and kindness and benevolence will go on and endure forever!.... The appeal which I constanly hear in my spirit says to me, 'Help the hungry, poor and less fortunate',

Monday December 24, 2007       "FOR-Giving!" Psalm 27:4 (New International Version) One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. I have been to conferences and other meetings, and I knew beforehand that to have a place to rest and relax from all the activity of the day, I needed to make a reservation.

Wednesday December 26, 2007       "A Perspective of Preparation!" Luke 1:17 (Amplified Bible) And he will [himself] go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn back the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient and incredulous and unpersuadable to the wisdom of the upright [which is the knowledge and holy love of the will of God]--in order to make ready for the Lord a people [perfectly] prepared [in spirit, adjusted and disposed and placed in the right moral state]. The Apostle Luke is putting into 'Perspective', the role of Jesus' cousin John, who was given an assignment by God in 'Preparation' for the coming of our 'Savior and King'.

Tuesday December 4, 2007       "A Messenger of God's Truth!" Acts 20:24 (Amplified Bible) But none of these things move me; neither do I esteem my life dear to myself, if only I may finish my course with joy and the ministry which I have obtained from [which was entrusted to me by] the Lord Jesus, faithfully to attest to the good news (Gospel) of God's grace (His unmerited favor, spiritual blessing, and mercy). Luke takes every effort to record the travels of the Apostle Paul, as he and the other disciples continue proclaiming the Kingdom of heaven throughout the nations.
