Those who heard this asked, "Who then can be saved?"
Jesus replied,
"What is impossible with men is possible with God."
Peter said to him, "We have left all we had to follow you!"
"I tell you the truth," Jesus said to them,
"no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age and, in the age to come, eternal life."

Christ Jesus was assuring the Apostle Peter, and all BELIEVERS, that following HIM was going to be a costly decision.

Through the understanding given by Holy Spirit, I am able to see now why Jesus was continually repeating HIS WORDs, because they are those things of which I must desire above all else, seeking them with all of my heart.

Luke 9:25
What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?

Where there are some things in this life that seem to be good, yet when looking at what Jesus said about eternity, then who am I to question or argue with HIM?

Much of what I desired and sought after in the past, before coming to the true understanding of exactly what God's purpose and plan is for me, both having and being, I realize even more now that all those things are worthless and unfruitful compared to the reality of Eternity.

My shame for that has been long since forgiven, and I now find it is better to seek and desire those things which bear fruit into the Kingdom of God,

because those things have Eternity WRITTEN all over them!

O'Lord, YOU are beautiful, my sweet, sweet song,
it is YOU that I must cling to all the day long!
YOU are my Savior who died upon that tree,
it is YOU that Loves me and is able to Save me!!
YOU poured out YOUR Spirit with gifts of POWER and Might,
I no longer have to fear death or dread the dark of night!!!
YOU are Spirit, guiding each and every step I take,
it is in YOU that I find Peace and Life,
I choose now and forever to serve YOUR Namesake!

YOU are my beautiful and everlasting song!
