Volume 4 Chapter 2 Page 14

Tuesday February 20, 2007       2 Adar 5767 (Hebrew 6th Month)

"Justification IS OBEDIENCE,

IN Faith and Works!"

"Christ Judges Righteously!"

James 2:22-24
(Holman Christian Standard Bible)

You see that faith was active together with his works, and by works, faith was perfected. So the Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness, and he was called God's friend.
You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.

Today, I am openly confessing to my Lord, that in 'Recent' days, my 'FLESH' has tended to 'Raise it's ugly HEAD', in response to false accusation and unjust persecution, needless to say, from those who 'Proclaim' themselves as being 'Believers and Servants' of The Most High God.

Therein lies the TRUTH of Repentance, where those 'WORKS' expose the TRUE 'Master' to which they so willingly 'Serve' and 'DO BIDDING' for!

The Apostle James, a half brother to Jesus, was all to well acquainted with 'False Accusation' and 'Unjust Persecution', where even the slightest glimpse of 'Soulish Works' brought immediate and oftentimes deadly consequences.

But, as the Apostle James, Peter and Paul, I also "Know and Trust' my MASTER, Christ Jesus, to be my 'VINDICATOR'.

I will also confess, that I sometimes fail in my response to oppression, but again, 'Repentance' is like a good medicine.

Romans 12:17-21
(New International Version)
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written:
"It is mine to avenge; I will repay, "says the Lord.
On the contrary:
"If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

This scripture is an Old Testament Proverb, which the Apostle James used to substantiate every Faithful and Obedient Believer's 'RIGHTful' Justification,

which ONLY comes from the ONE TRUE Judge
of both the 'Living and the Dead'.

Seems as though the Apostle John mentioned a day and a time, in which Christ HIMself 'VINDICATED' the oppressed, even in the face of those HE named as

'The Religious unRighteous'.

John 8:3-11

The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus,
"Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery.
In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women.
Now what do you say?"
They were using this question as a trap,
in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them,

"If any one of you is without sin,

let him be the first to throw a stone at her."

Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.

At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her,
"Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"

Many of you 'Know' the 'Rest of the Story',

it's JUST that I have to CONTINUALLY REMIND myself of Christ' WORDs,
every NOW and Again!
every second, of EVERY DAY!!!

Father, YOUR Mercy and Compassion overwhelms me!
YOUR Spirit guides me to bring my flesh into submission!!
Where in my past,
I would have found it hard,
but now I find forgiveness,
to be BOTH 'SURE and COMPLETE'!!!
O'Lord, and my MASTER,
YOU alone will I serve,
for my Obedience in Faith and Works,
is ALL I have to give!
YOU, O'Lord, are my 'Redeemer and Judge',
In YOU I find myself 'Forgiven'!!!
Amen and Forever!
