Volume 4 Chapter 1 Page 1

Tuesday January 2, 2007       12 Tevet 5767

"A Believer's Faith!"

"In Times Like These!"

Acts 14:22 (New International Version)

strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. "We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," they said.

Much like the 1st century church, there must be believers today who are willing to endure the hardships associated with remaining true to their Faith in Christ, as this will strengthen and encourage many who seek a deeper and more intimate relationship of Faith with God.

Accounts of severe opposition and persecution were recorded during the early years of the church, yet for over 2000 years now, the message of Hope and Salvation through Christ Jesus has remained, because of countless Faithful believers who persisted in preaching and teaching the Good News of the Kingdom of God.

Looking at what the Apostle Paul said in

1 Corinthians 1:18
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

it is this very scripture that has for centuries, proved that God's Power given to believers through Holy Spirit, is present and continues working in the lives of believers.

HIS Spirit has and will forever provide the strength, perserverance and encouragement needed to continue steadfast and true to the WORK of God despite the hardships and troubles which Jesus said we must encounter and endure for our Faith in HIS Name.

O'Lord, YOU lift me up in times like these,
when all around me I see strife and despair!
It pleased YOU to suffer so much and die for me,
What then must I endure through faith,
that those who are perishing,
may find YOU and gain Eternal Life?
I draw upon YOU and YOUR Spirit,
that my strength will never fail,
till I see YOU in YOUR Glory coming one day!!!
HE is High and Lifted UP,
and HIS Glory fills the temple of my heart,
Praises to the Lamb who sits on HIS throne!

Amen!
