"Being Challenged!"

"By God's Eternal Truth!"

1 Timothy 3:16 (New International Version)

Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

The Apostle Paul wrote these WORDs to young Timothy, fully knowing by the revelation of Truth from God's Spirit, that his own Faith in Christ would be challenged at every turn.

Instructions for the early church were meticuously detailed, very much like the instructions God gave to Moses, preparing him to lead the Israelites through the wilderness and into the Land of Promise, if only they would be Obedient and Faithful.

Timothy would benefit from Paul's written account of God's provision, and now many centuries later, I too gain a deeper understanding through Holy Spirit, of the challenge which must be faced in order that God's WORK continues to be ongoing and fruitful in the days ahead.

It is as though I also have been challenged to believe the unbelieveable, where being unable to rest in my conviction, until I gain a greater understanding of God's Provision of Courage and Power by Holy Spirit.

Nothing settles a question or quarrel quicker than the TRUTH, and where Paul believed without fear or doubt, this TRUTH was then passed on to Timothy and to us 2000 years later.

As a Believer in Christ, God's Spirit unlocks those mysteries of godliness, building and increasing my Faith, providing assurance that God's WORD will never return void, and by the hands of HIS servants will deliver an abundant harvest into HIS Kingdom.

O'Lord, YOU are Great and Wonderful,
for YOU have unlocked those chains
that once held my heart and soul captive!
YOU have freed many others as well,
who also serve in YOUR fields of labor,
knowing our Master will soon return!!
Strengthen me against the weariness,
feeding me daily by YOUR Spirit,
from my King's table of plenty!!!
YOU challenge me each day Father,
to bear an increase of fruit,
that YOUR Kingdom be filled!

Amen!
