Volume 4 Chapter 1 Page 3

Thursday January 4, 2007       14 Tevet 5767

"Re-Formed!"

"By God's Spirit!"

2 Corinthians 3:18 (New International Version)

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

A Believer in Christ is to strive with all uncertainity, the transformation into a new creation as God's WORD says we are, giving Holy Spirit permission to reside within us, allowing our minds to be renewed where we seek after the things of God.

As Jesus told Nicodemus in the Gospel of John, Chapter 3 verses 5-8

"I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

Christ was telling us that our physical birth was insufficient to inherit Eternal Life, but our re-birth by God's Spirit was what is desireable and necessary for immortality.

Each of us inherit something from our parents, our mother's eyes, our father's hair and many other features and characteristics that prove of our origin, including that sinful nature which before separated us from a Holy and Righteous God.

God's Spirit re-Forms us, transforming our spiritual characteristics, faults, failures and all, where HE fashions us after the original creation we were puposed and destined to be.

The Apostle Paul elaborates upon this mystery which for so long had been hidden from man's understanding, and now having received divine revelation from Holy Spirit, unlocking the Truth of what Christ had earlier spoken to Nicodemus.

Renewing and reforming our ways and thoughts, a spiritual inheritance received through Holy Spirit, where spiritual characteristics and features lead to prove to others our heavenly heritage comes from God, the Creator and Sustainer of Life Everlasting.

O'Lord, Great is YOUR Faithfulness,
that is in all of the earth!
I give YOUR Spirit residence and control,
of all that I am and will ever be!!
Show me now as YOU did Paul,
more of YOUR Glory and Power,
that my desire to serve YOU be proven!!!
So that others may see more of YOU in me,
for that alone will be a testimony,
that I belong to YOU, my Father!

Amen!
