"Salvation's Sign!"
While all the world seeks a sign from heaven, one that proves the existence of a Powerful and Mighty God who through HIS Great Love, gave HIS only begotten Son, the Gospel of Christ is Salvation's Sign which belongs to all who place their Faith and Hope in HIM.
The sacrifice Christ made of HIMself, where our Victory is through HIS Glorious Resurrection many will be saved and will not perish into the everlasting punishment which is reserved for those who continue to rebel against God, refusing to accept Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.
A sign was given to us, of the Prophet Jonah, and because of the spiritual blindness that prevails, then and now of the eyes and in the hearts of men, it is only by the revealing and transforming work of Holy Spirit are believers able to discern the Truth of God and then be a witness of the Truth to those who continue to live in darkness.
The Apostle Matthew records the conversation between the Pharisees and teachers of the law and the response from Christ Jesus to the hypocrisy in their lives which HE revealed by these WORDs,
It is because of these WORDs of Christ, that I should be reminded of this, that whenever the opportunity presents itself, to bear witness and give testimony of HIM who came as a man, lived without sin and died for our transgressions, therefore I become like a present day Jonah having that same Power of Holy Spirit.
This sign then is for all who must hear the Gospel and by FAITH choose to receive HIS gift of Holy Spirit, never to see that death and punishment of eternal separation from HIS Holy Presence, but will be REWARDED on that Day of Judgement for Obedience to every WORD that proceeds from the mouth of God.
