Volume 4 Chapter 1 Page 11

Monday January 15, 2007       25 Tevet 5767 (Hebrew 4th Month)

"Holy Spirit, Reveal More to me!"

"As my Guide, Teacher and Power for Life!"

Romans 5:5 (New International Version)

And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

The body of Christ has QUITE effectively searched AND found in the letters which the Apostle Paul wrote to the church, what is to be God's mandate for church order, doctrinal foundation and a convenient archive for fulfillment of blessings.

What is left out many times is the inspired, infallible and promising WORDs regarding Holy Spirit as a believer's guide, directing our path in life, as a teacher instructing us through life and as God's Power for living victoriously in life.

Were the writings of Paul indicative of his victory, where he recorded the beatings, shipwrecks and imprisonment which he endured solely and without remorse for the Name of Christ and HIS Gospel?

These scriptures to me are extremely POWERful;

2 Corinthians 11:22-29
".... Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my own countrymen, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false brothers. I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches. Who is weak, and I do not feel weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn?"

God's WORD says that Holy Spirit, is Power to which all men are convicted of their unrighteousness, leading them to confess, repent and be made Holy and Righteous, as God is Holy and Righteous.

What then is Paul speaking of when he speaks of burning inwardly?

God's Holy Fire, who purifies my heart and mind just as a refiner's fire purifies gold and silver.

Seems too much is being read into scripture concerning blessings, where stripes on his back, his pockets emptied of all riches and wealth, hands and feet chained like a criminal, he was mocked and humiliated for the sake of the Precious Name of Jesus.

And then Paul asks of me, are you a Believer in Christ also?

O'Lord, YOUR Spirit speaks a language that my heart understands,
WORDs for living my life by YOUR standards, not mine!
I can hear the rush of many angel's wings,
where they hover 'round about me,
as YOUR Spirit is seated on the throne of my heart!!
The Light of YOUR Majesty and Glory,
cast no shadows as far as my eyes can see,
and my ears also hear echoes of waves,
those tears of Joy that YOU shed for me!!!
Speak those WORDs of Life through me,
that others may hear, see and believe!

Amen!
