"Wealth and Prosperity!"
James, the brother of Jesus inspired by Holy Spirit to write these WORDs to believers, had more than just a revelation about wealth, he had lived with and served the King of Kings, who eternally holds all the treasures of wealth and prosperity of the Kingdom of God, and as a Believer in Christ, I too share in the inheritance of that wealth and prosperity as a joint-heir with HIM.
Many times Christ spoke of the incredible dangers and pitfalls that are associated with earthly wealth and prosperity, when measured against God's standard by which believers are to use when acquiring, while handling and during the dispersement of both financial and spiritual prosperity.
When those who PERCEIVE their personal wealth to have some significance in relation to the Kingdom of God, they are then confronted by the WORDs of Christ, and it is from their response to HIM that I must understand God's TRUTH concerning both materialistic wealth and prosperity and the spiritual wealth and prosperity of HIS Kingdom.
It is only after my comparison and subsequent evaluation of the two, according to Christ' teachings and HIS brother James' writings, due to the revelation by Holy Spirit do I know, believe, and in Obedience to HIM, surmise that my worldly wealth and prosperity has no Eternal value whatsoever in God's sight in regards to Spiritual value and usefullness.
It is not about and never has been, ONLY about someone's ability to make, their capacity to use or their position as prosperous that concerned Christ, but it was and will always be about the condition of my heart that will be laid bare and made known.
Not just at HIS Day of Judgement where that will be revealed, but also in the present, whereby the discerning and ongoing work of Holy Spirit will reveal the existence of one bearing eternal fruit, which never corrodes, spoils nor fades away.
This was not a very popular teaching of TRUTH in the days of Jesus,
