"Hostages Released!"

"HE Rescued US All!"

2 Corinthians 10:3-6
(Amplified)

For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), Being in readiness to punish every [insubordinate for his] disobedience, when your own submission and obedience [as a church] are fully secured and complete. Look at [this obvious fact] which is before your eyes. If anyone is confident that he is Christ's, let him reflect and remind himself that even as he is Christ's, so too are we.

As the Apostle Paul explains the specifics of the spiritual warfare believers are to be continuously engaged in.

He brings another rather overlooked point to the attention of the reader as a constant reminder, that other believers are also engaged in the fierce battle against the enemy of God.

What an encouragement to hear God's Voice, Holy Spirit, remind me of these WORDs of Jesus as he spoke to HIS disciples concerning others who were also in the heat of the battle against an unseen enemy in the flesh, but nonetheless real and dangerous to man's spiritual condition.

Mark 9:38-41
"Teacher," said John, "we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us."
"Do not stop him," Jesus said.
"No one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, for whoever is not against us is for us. I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward.

It is these WORDs of Christ, that reminded me of the broader and more offensive, rather than defensive posture that is to be taken of Believers, in the spiritual realm of warfare.

Where every confrontation against that self-proclaimed enemy of God by followers, believers and warriors in the Army of God, make headlines in the unseen, yet realistic spiritual realm of heaven.

Only to the seasoned veteran of conflict, does the vision of an offensive campaign bring about the Victory for which Christ spoke of.

Any reference to a defensive position being held during the heat of battle, simply put, makes a far less impact against the advancement and defeat of God's eternal enemy.

Where an offensive attack by Believers, in far reaching and often remote areas of continuous advancements being made by the Redeemed of God, it is the taking back and holding of conquered 'spiritual' ground that is to be recognized as a Victory March, and not of just another struggle for the same territory, over and over and over again.

O'Lord, knowledge of YOU is my shield and my fortress,
YOU strengthen me every moment in this raging battle!
Orders to bring about submission and defeat,
where each and every enemy I conquer in YOUR Name,
are brought as prizes and laid at YOUR Precious feet!!
It is onward that I must obediently go,
as a trained warrior against God's foe,
that YOUR Righteous and Glorious banner,
be lifted HIGH for all see and know!!!
On a despised cross, there Victory was made,
in a grave, where my Lord and King was laid,
it is for that bright New Morning in YOU, O'Lord,
that I have long waited for,
knowing that my Victory is in YOU alone!
Hallelujah!
Amen!
