'The Agape Letters' to the House of Faith!

Volume 4 Chapter 7 Page 3

Wednesday July 4, 2007       18 Tammuz 5767 (Hebrew 9th Month)

"Beyond 'The Call'!"

"'WORKs in Christ', Every Believer's Destiny!"

Colossians 1:23 (Amplified Bible)

[And this He will do] provided that you continue to stay with and in the faith [in Christ], well-grounded and settled and steadfast, not shifting or moving away from the hope [which rests on and is inspired by] the glad tidings (the Gospel), which you heard and which has been preached [as being designed for and offered without restrictions] to every person under heaven, and of which [Gospel] I, Paul, became a minister.

Like the Apostle Paul, as I and every Believer in Christ who has received their 'Calling' has also received God's Gift of Power through HIS Spirit to edify, teach, and empower us, Holy Spirit also Directs me into the 'Purpose' for which HIS Kingdom is to be advanced in the earth.

The Apostle Paul could just as well have left the city of Damascus with a 'Sense and Feeling' of being 'Closer to God' as some Believers in Christ have done, but then there would have been much less known of what the New Testament church accomplished for a 'Increase in God's Kingdom'!

'Seeing and Hearing' the 'Voice of God', in such a dramatic way, must not just be a coincidence of 'Experiencing God', but this 'Touch' must instill into my heart as well as other Believers, a driving ambition to fulfill that 'Purpose for which God has Called'.

'Receiving Sight' from the Most Gracious Hand of God, proclaimed such a Loving and Powerful testimony as was the Apostle Paul's, but also burned within the 'Heart' of a man, an 'Obligation' of sorts, where one man who was once headed down a 'Road' that would ultimately lead to 'Death and Eternal Separation' from the Very Presence of God, would Declare both the 'WORD and WORKs' of the Gospel to many people along the way in his life's journey.

The Apostle Paul left Damascus and began 'Seeking and Listening' to Holy Spirit, while also being 'Taught and Prepared' by God's WORD into that area of fulfillment of God's Purpose, where he diligently strived to live each and every day 'Beyond the Destiny and Calling' upon his life.

Where the phrase, 'Nothing Lost, Nothing Gained', carries with it the stigma of an unfilled committment to a 'Purpose', I must never be found guilty of believing, 'Whatever Will Be, Will Be' nor being silent in thinking, 'That stuff about 'Witnessing and Teaching Others' must be God's 'Calling and Destiny' for SOMEONE ELSE's Life!!!

More of who Christ IS to me!

          MORE like HIM,

                        I desire to be!!

Some day SOON, with HIM I will BE!!!

O'Lord, YOUR Spirit speaks to my heart loudly,
of the WORKs in Christ that YOU have set before me!
Talents which I must be using in YOUR Kingdom,
are FOREVER for YOUR Glory, and not mine!!
YOUR Gospel is 'Proclaiming Salvation in Christ' to lost souls,
to me this is more important than anything else!!!
Drive me each day to 'Speak' YOUR WORDs of Life,
loosing my selfish desire to 'Play' church!
My 'Purpose' is to SERVE YOU in everything that I do,
and everything that YOU are 'DUE' will Glorify only YOU, O'Lord!

Direct me in all YOUR Ways, O'Lord
that I fulfill YOUR 'Call', Eternal and Everlasting WORD!!!
Amen!!!
