'The Agape Letters' to the House of Faith!

Volume 4 Chapter 7 Page 16

Monday July 23, 2007       8 Av 5767 (Hebrew 10th Month)

"A Blessed Servant!"

"Of HIS Business!"

Luke 12:37 (Amplified Bible)

(Jesus speaking)
Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are those servants whom the master finds awake and alert and watching when he comes. Truly I say to you, he will gird himself and have them recline at table and will come and serve them!

According to the WORDs of Christ', every servant of The Most High God must be found Faithful to their assignment and duties as an heir and joint heir in HIS Kingdom.

To understand why the Apostle Luke recorded what Jesus spoke of, every Believer must first understand why Christ came into this world, leaving HIS heavenly estate to 'Do the Perfect Will' of HIS Father.

Knowing HIS role as God's 'Suffering Servant', I must be submissive to Holy Spirit and accept my 'Commission' Joyfully and with Thanksgiving.

Entrusting HIS WORK of advancing the Gospel, my heavenly Father desires to reward with Blessings and Favor every servant who is found 'Alert and Busy' in Faithfulness to HIS Calling.

Christ Jesus also spoke of those servants who were unfaithful, lazy and cared not for HIS Father's Business, expecting to receive that same reward without having been found 'Obedient' to HIS Covenant.

With all 'Determination and Zeal', I must strive in 'Obedience' as the Apostle Paul says, for God in HIS Sovereign LOVE, 'CHOSE' me before I was born

to be a WILLING Servant to HIM,
Faithful as Christ to 'Do my Father's Good and Perfect WILL'!

More of who Christ IS to me!

          MORE like HIM,

                        I desire to be!!

Some day SOON, with HIM I will BE!!!

O'Lord, I must submit to YOUR Spirit who guides my hands each day,
that YOUR WORD receives Glory, Honor and Praise!
I must sacrifice my fleshly desires,
and bear my cross as Christ commanded!!
No servant is greater than his Master,
for YOUR Holy One suffered and died for my gain!!!
HE Will reward HIS Faithful with many crowns,
whose hearts long after HIS Righteousness,
being found humble and Obedient to Do YOUR WORK!
YOU are my Lord and my King,
and YOU alone will I serve!

Rejoice! Christ Reigns Eternal!!!
Amen!!!
