"Realm of Believers!"
With each letter the Apostle Paul wrote to the different fellowship of Believers in Christ, God's WORDs brought 'Encouragement' to HIS people during times of difficulties, strife, oppression and sometimes severe persecution.
Moreso to the benefit of the entire Body of Christ, did Paul know the trials and temptations that he was presently enduring for his outspoken Faith in Christ Jesus.
As I read the indepth accounts recorded within the pages of Holy Spirit inspired scripture, I am overwhelmed to say the least, that even Paul and those who worked alongside him in God's calling to Kingdom WORK, were disrespected and oftentimes rebuked for so diligently seeking to strengthen and encourage other Believers in Christ to grow and prosper in their personal relationship with God through HIS Son, Christ Jesus.
Somewhat dismayed by the characterization imposed upon Paul and the other leaders who had the monumental task set before them, to exhort and encourage those Believers who were, to put it in Paul's very own WORDs, shallow and mere infants in their Faith, in comparison to those who had sacrificed everything to 'Serve and Obey' God, rather than conform themselves to an image that the world would accept and respect.
Spiritual responsibilities and leadership roles are placed upon men and women who desire to 'Serve and Obey' God, because I for one, have not and probably never would expect to be considered anything more than a fellowservant in the Kingdom of God.
Where it is 'Righteous and Honourable', that I seek daily to deepen my Faith and with the Counsel and Guidance of Holy Spirit, grow into a sound and steadfast disciple who has responded to God's calling.
A Believer who never wavers in these 'Duties and Responsibilities' despite the opposition and scorn that tends to somehow find those who 'Serve and Obey' Christ, and most often comes from within the Body of Christ.
I must take every opportunity to 'Encourage, Strengthen and Equip' my fellow 'Brothers and Sisters' in Christ, and how much I long for that to be their deepest and most humble desire as well.....
More like Christ, I desire to BE!
More of HIM,
MORE LIKE CHRIST AM I to BE!!!
