"Power in HIS Name!"

Romans 6:3-6
(Amplified Version)

Are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized
into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
We were buried therefore with Him by the baptism into death,
so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by
the glorious [power] of the Father, so we too might
[habitually] live and behave in newness of life.
For if we have become one with Him by sharing a death like His,
we shall also be [one with Him in sharing]
His resurrection [by a new life lived for God].
We know that our old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross
with Him in order that [our] body [which is the instrument]
of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil,
that we might no longer be the slaves of sin.

I know that death will set my spirit free from my body, and after that my soul will be eternally in the Presence of God.

I know these WORDs of the Apostle Paul are TRUTH,

because he later writes in
Colossians 1:22
But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death
to present you holy in his sight,
without blemish and free from accusation—

Only by having a deep committment to Christ, in a daily and ongoing fellowship with HIM through Holy Spirit, where HE reveals more of HIMself, and HIS plan for me, am I able to continue on through this life despite the obstacles and trials that I may face.

There is nothing which can replace nor be subsituted for the POWER of God, Holy Spirit, for that same POWER raised Christ from death, transforms my life from the old and into that new creation as promised by HIM.

God's WORD also says, that a Glorious Day is coming, when every living creature, both great and small, will proclaim Jesus is Lord.

I want to be more than anything, one who stands in HIS Presence, shouting loudly that Christ Jesus is my Lord and my King, that HIS Name is and will always be the Power of Salvation.

Only those who call upon HIS Name will be saved, HIS WORD says that no man can be in God's Presence unless he has accepted Christ as the ONLY Way, the ONLY Truth and the ONLY Light that will lead and guide me to my heavenly Father.

There are so many men, women and children upon the earth, who have never heard that Christ came as a man, lived a sinless life, died for their sin and was resurrected from death and the grave that they might have Eternal Life in HIS Name.

By HIS Power are these things accomplished, in HIS Name are these things Promised, and by God's Holy Spirit, are these WORDs taught to those who are lost and without a Hope and a Future in HIS Eternal Presence.

More of who Christ IS to me!

          MORE like HIM,

                        I desire to be!!

                      Some day SOON, with HIM I will BE!!!

O'Lord, the miraculous Power of YOUR Name,
is transforming my heart each day!
In YOUR Presence I desire to be for eternity,
to see YOUR face and be held in YOUR arms!!
My days must be filled with YOUR WORD,
that others may know YOU,
and live each of their days for YOU!!!
For there is no other Name given,
in heaven or in the earth,
by which men can be saved!
Jesus, Name Above All Names!!!

Use me to lead others to YOU, O'Lord,
that YOUR Name will be in their hearts,
and upon their lips for eternity!
Amen!!!
