"All HIS Glory!"

 

"Honoring God's Son!"

 

John 1:14 (Amplified Bible)

And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.

 

What Truth these WORDs have as a testimony for the Son of God,

who became a man and walked among HIS Creation, that knowing in all that I do and say, I MUST Honor and Glorify HIM who sacrificed so much for me.

The Apostle John writes to give me an account of the humanity of Christ,

and also the majesty of the King of kings.

As Christ walked with and taught HIS disciples,

it was they who encountered the Lord in all HIS Glory, as God's Son, and as Savior of mankind.

God's Holy Spirit lives within Believers as HIS Glorious Presence,

rendering a glimpse of HIS Diety as Lord over all of creation.

Honoring Christ is to be my ultimate achievement,

such that I will hear HIM say on that Glorious Day, 'Well done, my good and faithful servant, enter into the Joy which I have prepared for you.'

More of who Christ IS to me!

          MORE like HIM,

                        I desire to be!!

                      Some day SOON, with HIM I will BE!!!

O'Lord, I am overwhelmed by the depth of YOUR Love for me! To Honor and Glorify YOU must be my greatest desire, where I will be blessed and receive YOUR favor and YOUR blessing upon my life!! YOUR Spirit will guard my heart with YOUR WORD, keeping me vigilant and committed to the mission YOU have called me to do while I live!!! Each day I must Honor YOU in all YOUR Glory, giving testimony of HIM who died and rose again!
