"Bold Declaration!"
What must it take for believers to speak more boldly of the Gracious hand of God, as HE touches and changes the lives of suffering people, as did the Apostles Peter and John, when an undeniable miracle is witnessed by so many?
Faith, as Peter had earlier explained, was having been in the very presence of God's Son Jesus, seeing HIM heal the sick, cast out demons from those tormented and oppressed and fulfilling the purpose for which HE was destined.
This scripture is so repetitive of what the Old Testament Prophets had spoken countless times in centuries past, and repentance continues to be the breadth and depth of the Gospel for mankind today.
With the empty hope of peace, and the daily promises of a degrading society which only lead to more confusion and frustration for those of this world, it is only Christ and HIS Peace and Security, that can forever refresh the people.
I must understand, as did the early disciples, the severity of their present days need, and respond courageously with the Good News.
Having Holy Spirit as his guide, God's Power and Authority, backed by his unshakeable Faith in HIM who had calmed the stormy waters upon which he had walked, did the Apostle Peter preach with such boldness.
As Peter and John having seen and witnessed God's Glory in the Life of Christ Jesus, it is imperative that I too proclaim HIS message of repentance, that Everlasting Refreshing that comes only from the Holy Presence of God, with courage and boldness,
More of who Christ IS to me!
