Tuesday May 1, 2007       "God's Eternal Plan!" "Promise and Hope in HIS Son!" Ephesians 3:6 (Amplified Version) [It is this:] that the Gentiles are now to be fellow heirs [with the Jews], members of the same body and joint partakers [sharing] in the same divine promise in Christ through [their acceptance of] the glad tidings (the Gospel). The Apostle Paul wrote mainly to the Gentile Believers, who also received God's baptism of Holy Spirit, becoming joint partakers and heirs with Christ in HIS Kingdom.

Wednesday May 2, 2007       "Oath to Faithfullness!" "God is Righteous and Just!" Hebrews 10:23 (Amplified Version) So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word. The writer of Hebrews tells me of the Faith of so many who relied upon God for everything.

Thursday May 3, 2007       "Learn MORE of the Truth!" "Loosening HIS WORD!" 1 Timothy 3:16 (New International Version) Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory. The Apostle Paul wrote these WORDs to young Timothy, fully knowing by the revelation of Truth from God's Spirit, that his own Faith in Christ would be challenged at every turn.

Monday May 7, 2007       "Confidence in Christ!" "God's Grace is Sufficient!" Hebrews 4:16 (Amplified Bible) Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it]. Knowing of God as a supreme being who watches from heaven above over the things of the earth, is a much, much different kind of knowledge than from the TRUTH which the writer of Hebrews was implying in this scripture.

Tuesday May 8, 2007       "All HIS Glory!" "Honoring God's Son!" John 1:14 (Amplified Bible) And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth. What Truth these WORDs have as a testimony for the Son of God, who became a man and walked among HIS Creation, that knowing in all that I do and say, I MUST Honor and Glorify HIM who sacrificed so much for me.

Wednesday May 9, 2007       "Truly HIS Honor!" "Believer's Testimony of Righteousness!" John 7:18 (Amplified Bible) (Jesus speaking) He who speaks on his own authority seeks to win honor for himself. [He whose teaching originates with himself seeks his own glory.] But He Who seeks the glory and is eager for the honor of Him Who sent Him, He is true; and there is no unrighteousness or falsehood or deception in Him. The Apostle John listened to Jesus as HE gave testimony of HIMself, and why HE must be believed to be God's Promised Savior and Redeemer.

Thursday May 10, 2007       "Fruit Bearers!" "Christ' True Followers!" John 15:8 (Amplified Bible) (Jesus speaking) When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine. Since these WORDs of Christ were recorded by the Apostle John over 2000 years ago, I see the Kingdom of God advancing rapidly towards the Day of HIS Glorious return for HIS true and faithful followers.

Friday May 11, 2007       "Forward Movement!" "Each New Day in Christ!" Acts 5:42 (Amplified Bible) Yet [in spite of the threats] they never ceased for a single day, both in the temple area and at home, to teach and to proclaim the good news (Gospel) of Jesus [as] the Christ (the Messiah). While those early disciples faced many obstacles that came against their Faith in Christ, they remained True to HIS commandment to teach and proclaim the Good News.

Tuesday May 15, 2007       "Bold Declaration!" "Faith and Truth!" Acts 3:19 (Amplified Bible) So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord; What must it take for believers to speak more boldly of the Gracious hand of God, as HE touches and changes the lives of suffering people, as did the Apostles Peter and John, when an undeniable miracle is witnessed by so many?

Wednesday May 16, 2007       "Yielding to HIS Spirit!" "Prepared IN Season and OUT!" Acts 8:31 (Amplified Bible) And he said, How is it possible for me to do so unless someone explains it to me and guides me [in the right way]? And he earnestly requested Philip to come up and sit beside him. That question, 'How is it possible for me to do so unless someone explains it to me and guides me to the Truth?', is many times upon the hearts of those who are living in desperation and hopelessness, yet their reluctance of being thought of as ignorant, seals both their lips and their hearts to the Gospel of Christ.

Thursday May 17, 2007       "WORD and Spirit!" "Guides for Life!" 2 John 1:6 (Amplified Bible) And what this love consists in is this: that we live and walk in accordance with and guided by His commandments (His orders, ordinances, precepts, teaching). This is the commandment, as you have heard from the beginning, that you continue to walk in love [guided by it and following it]. Knowing God's WORD and being empowered by Holy Spirit is a must for Believers in Christ, to continue living and walking in Love as the Apostle John writes.

Friday May 18, 2007       "Life by HIS WORD!" "Freedom for Eternity!" John 5:24 (Amplified Bible) (Jesus speaking) I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the person whose ears are open to My words [who listens to My message] and believes and trusts in and clings to and relies on Him Who sent Me has (possesses now) eternal life...... How wonderful it must have been to hear firsthand these WORDs of Christ, yet reading them now 2000 years later, my exhuberance and joy is unmatched by any account.

Tuesday May 22, 2007       "Fragrant Aroma!" "Speaking HIS WORDs of Life!" 2 Corinthians 2:14-16 (Amplified Bible) But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ's victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere,... As the Apostle Paul writes, Believers in Christ who SPEAK the WORD of God are an aroma that please HIM who saves those who HEAR and ACCEPT HIS Son.

Wednesday May 22, 2007       "Confident and Mature!" "Enduring Joyfully!" Romans 5:4 (Amplified Bible) And endurance (fortitude) develops maturity of character (approved faith and tried integrity). And character [of this sort] produces [the habit of] joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation. When facing the many struggles of living as a Believer in Christ, it is Enduring them with Confidence which matures us and becomes testimony to our unfailing HOPE in HIS Promise of Eternal Life.

Friday May 25, 2007       "Companionship!" "Satisfying and Meaningful!" Psalm 25:11-15 (Amplified Bible) For Your name's sake, O Lord, pardon my iniquity and my guilt, for [they are] great. Who is the man who reverently fears and worships the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way that he should choose...... I rejoice with a great and overwhelming Joy, all the times when my Lord has rescued me from the pitfalls and snares of life that were set to destroy me before my enemies.

Monday May 28, 2007       "Operation Salvation!" "God's Task Force!" Mark 13:34 (Amplified Bible) (Jesus speaking) It is like a man [ already] going on a journey; when he leaves home, he puts his servants in charge, each with his particular task, and he gives orders to the doorkeeper to be constantly alert and on the watch. Christ Jesus explained to HIS disciples as simply as possible and in specific detail, exactly what is expected of those who answer and commit to following HIM.

Tuesday May 29, 2007       "Searching for Souls!" "From the Mountains to the Valleys!" Luke 3:4-6 (Amplified Bible) (Jesus speaking) As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, The voice of one crying in the wilderness [shouting in the desert]: Prepare the way of the Lord, make His beaten paths straight. Every valley and ravine shall be filled up, and every mountain and hill shall be leveled;.... A mountaintop view has always had an exhilarating effect on my spirit, for it is a place where Jesus went often to pray to HIS Father, and from which to speak HIS Life WORDs to all those who were gathered before HIM in the valleys below.
