"Served by Love!"
The WORDs of Christ are quite clear as to what those who Believe and follow after HIM are obligated to do as a duty to HIM and to one another.
Each time Jesus spoke to HIS disciples concerning HIS example of selfless service to others, HE was teaching them principles of the Kingdom of heaven that are to be fulfilled in the earth.
What Joy comes from giving to the hungry and hurting that are around me, yet it is a greater Joy when I realize that I have followed HIS example.
The King of Glory is Honored when those who call HIM Lord and Master, act in Obedience and give of their abundance to those in need.
I will meet someone today who desparately needs a comforting WORD, maybe even a drink of the Living Water which quenches the thirst of their soul.
Sharing the Bread of Life with another whose spirit man needs substance by which they will find the Peace and Hope that can only be found in Christ Jesus.
Truthfully, the needs of a hungry and hurting people have not changed in the 2000 years since Jesus walked upon the earth, which must urge me towards an even greater resolve to follow HIS example of a selfless servant.
