"Protective Covering!"
Defining the 'FULL Armor of God', as the Apostle Paul does in these verses, there are certain pieces of my 'SUIT of Warfare' that are very important, one being the 'Belt of Truth'.
Necessary and vital for the 'Carrying of LIFE Saving' provisions for 'Sustaining' me as a 'Warrior' during those 'days of evil' which God's WORD has said will come.
I must Faithfully and Obediently fulfill my 'Committment', for during each day it is this 'Struggle' which takes place in the 'heavenly realms', that I have been 'Commissioned and Commanded' by God to 'Serve' HIM as the 'Way' of advancing the Gospel of Christ.
As Paul explains God's WORD as Truth and Righteousness, both as the 'Bread of Life' and the 'Living Water', Holy Spirit is then HIS 'sWORD' which must be 'Inside a Sheath', ready at any given moment to be drawn to 'Guard and Defend', but also to be recognized by the enemy as God's 'Seal of Approval' marking this Believer as a 'Warrior', fierce and valiant in the 'Good Fight'!
The 'Breastplate' is designed for the 'Protection and Covering' my heart, which is 'Filled and Overflowing' with HIS Precious Blood and Spirit.
Where many years ago I lived as a defeated and broken slave, held captive and sentenced to an eternal death, and then HE 'Transformed' me into a 'Triumphant and Victorious' Armor Bearer of Light!
Symbolic of an all 'About FACE' where I was running away in the opposite direction and is envisioned as retreat, and into an all 'FORWARD MARCH', being HIS Order for my life, where each day I now walk boldly and courageously by Faith in Christ Jesus.
