The example that I must follow, is one where Jesus loudly and clearly declared to HIS disciples of HIM coming as The Light of the world, bearing God's Truth of Hope and Deliverance as HIS message from heaven.

My eyes were not created by God to see in the darkness that Christ speaks of and describes here in these verses, where I am unable to see the Love and Compassion my heavenly Father has for me and all who choose to Believe in HIS Son.

But because my eyes have been created to react to Light, Christ in bringing the Glory of Heaven to the earth also brought Hope for a Day forthcoming, and Deliverance from the darkness that continually attempts to hide that Truth from my sight.

God's Spirit is HIS Promised Gift of Power, HIS Power opens my eyes from spiritual darkness and leads me to focus on the Light who then draws me into a deeper and meaningful relationship with HIM.

What attracts me most in my life is the Truth, who has set me free from the darkness that blocks any and all visions that my heavenly Father may have reserved for me and all that will Believe and Trust in Christ Jesus.

O'Lord, YOU have opened my eyes that I may see, YOUR wondrous Love and Gift of Life so sweet and free! Plant within my heart YOUR Seed of Truth and Hope, and give me increased boldness to speak YOUR WORD!! From the crowded streets to the housetops afar, I must forever declare YOUR Kingdom to this world, that all who have been blinded by darkness, may find their sight and be drawn to YOUR Son of Light and Eternal Life!!!
