"The Delivery!"
Christ Jesus paid a steep price for my Freedom, giving HIS Life so that I might have Eternal Life.
Here the Apostle Luke records the details of when the Apostles Paul and Barnabus 'Delivered' the Gospel to the crowd of people gathered in Antioch, both Jews and Gentiles were listening with anticipation.
With Boldness and Committment to the 'Charge' spoken by the Lord, it is this scene which must be repeated throughout the world until Christ returns, by those who have received HIS WORD and choose to Obey HIM.
Believers are commanded by Christ, that I owe no man anything but to Love them, and in this Love for everyone that I meet, I am to Faithfully bear witness of the Truth and the Light which frees them from captivity.
Luke records that the Gentiles 'Rejoiced' when they heard these WORDs of the Lord and believed.
There is great Joy in seeing someone give their heart to Christ Jesus, and hearing them proclaim HIM as Savior and Lord.
And then they too become 'Delivery' workers in God's Kingdom, carrying the Gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth, a most Precious Gift of Salvation and Life Everlasting in God's Presence.
