"Display of HIS Power!"
The Apostle Paul refers to 'Scripture' as he reminds his listeners of God's Mercy and Redemption, using even the most hopeless situation to reveal HIS Power to the whole world.
HOPE is found in God's WORD for those who are held captive and in bondage.
Although the situation looked bleak for the children of Israel, and many times looks hopeless to the eyes of unbelievers, yet God's Plan remains Sovereign and Eternal in Purpose and Fulfillment.
Each of the New Testament Apostles wrote concerning Christ Jesus, proclaiming to the world of God's Provision of a Savior, refering many times to Old Testament 'Scripture' as evidence of HIS Power to overcome oppression and persecution.
The WORD of God records that HIS Spirit is Power, and those who accept HIS Promise of Salvation through Christ, are quaranteed the Gift of Holy Spirit.
My life as a Believer in Christ, is to be a 'Display of HIS Power' to those around me, for it is only by God's Mercy that I have submitted my will to HIS Spirit, to be used however HE desires to further the Gospel throughout the entire world.
The Apostles Luke, Peter, James and Paul, and many other Believers in the New Testament displayed God's Power of Holy Spirit, this Truth has survived 2000 years of scrutiny, yet it is still remains God's Sovereign Will that triumphs.
