"Be Encouraged and Strengthened!"
What the Apostle Paul is attempting to convey to his readers in this letter is this, that as a Believer, each and every desire of my heart must be like that of Christ, to encourage and strengthen others with the enduring and timeless Truth of God.
It is by Faith that I believe God's WORD, each and every syllable written and spoken under the Anointing and Power of Holy Spirit is for my understanding and direction as I live out my days.
To imitate Christ and the example of the life HE lived, and looking also at the lives of those disciples who walked with HIM 2000 years ago, I must commit myself to prayer, seeking that God will impart those same spiritual gifts to me which Paul mentions and maintains are important and necessary to fulfill my purpose.
Although centuries has past, it remains that I must look for encouragement and gain inspiration from God's WORD, receiving instruction and understanding for my day to day living.
I must also surrender my will to HIM, being responsible to understand my corporate role as a Believer as well, to encourage other believers to seek the Lord with all their heart and soul.
Whenever another believer is strengthened by God's Spirit, I rejoice knowing God's Provision sustains each of us for different and unique roles, all of which jointly and in unison are aligned for HIS Good Pleasure.
The message of Redemption and Salvation, which all of the New Testament writers corporately penned, is a useful and required composition of both historical and spiritual modeling, lending credibility to my Faith and the Faith of every Believer throughout the ages, each desiring a deep, fulfilling and wholesome relationship, built entirely upon fellowship with the Creator and Sustainer of our Faith.
