"Assembly Required!"
As the 'comings and goings' of family gatherings begin to subside, I look to God's WORD for a return to 'normalcy' in my life, and reading these scriptures of where the early Disciples were so dedicated to 'Gathering' together to be taught and encouraged, I am reminded of my own spiritual need to fellowship and commune with other Christians.
These early disciples in Antioch were instructed by the Apostle Paul, Barnabus and others, where the Good News was proclaimed to ears that had most likely never heard of Jesus, Calvary and HIS Glorious Resurrection.
There is record that even some had never heard of Holy Spirit, and because of this lack of knowledge concerning the Kingdom of God, is why Paul and the other Apostles and teachers were so adamant about assembling the early church together corporately.
While there are so many distractions in our lives today, which pull us from one obligation to another and in seemingly every direction, it is our spiritual need for fellowship and communion with God which must remain as a 1st priority and secondly, we must be reminded of other Believers who are also desiring this same communion and fellowship.
Victorious living in Christ, is similiar in some ways to those 'Gifts' which are labeled, 'Assembly Required', needing a specific 'SOURCE' of Power and necessitating that every 'member' be fully incorporated.
Taking responsibility to ensure that every aspect of the 'Gift' functions according to the description supplied in the 'Manual'.
Desiring each moment to be filled with 'Joy', our dedication resembles the early church, continuing long into the night, with assurance that our 'Hope' is soundly based on the Truth and Guidance of God's Spirit.
