Monday June 2, 2008       "A United House!"
Luke 11:17 (Amplified)
But He, [well] aware of their intent and purpose, said to them,
Every kingdom split up against itself is doomed and brought to desolation,
and so house falls upon house. [The disunited household will collapse.]
Luke gives this account of Christ Jesus as HE answered those who contested HIS Power of Deliverance for those oppressed by demons.

 

Tuesday June 3, 2008       "WORDs of Cheer!"
Colossians 2:2 (Amplified)
[For my concern is] that their hearts may be braced (comforted, cheered, and encouraged)
as they are knit together in love, that they may come to have all
the abounding wealth and blessings of assured conviction of understanding,
and that they may become progressively more intimately acquainted with
and may know more definitely and accurately and thoroughly
that mystic secret of God, [which is] Christ (the Anointed One).
As a 'Champion of Faith', the Apostle Paul listened to God's 'Voice of Cheer', being 'Encouraged' to press forward in 'Victory', knowing with complete understanding the 'Fullness' of those 'Heavenly Riches' in Christ Jesus.

 

Wednesday June 4, 2008       "Blended Spiritually!"
2 Peter 3:18 (Amplified)
But grow in grace (undeserved favor, spiritual strength) and recognition and knowledge and
understanding of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (the Messiah). To Him [be] glory
(honor, majesty, and splendor) both now and to the day of eternity. Amen (so be it)!
By the time the Apostle Peter wrote this letter, he had heard and seen firsthand God's WORD Proclaiming the Kingdom message, saw the empty tomb of Jesus on Resurrection morning and had been an outspoken Witness on the Day of Pentecost, of the Power of God's Spirit.

 

Thursday June 5, 2008       "PostMarked for Heaven!"
Ephesians 4:30 (Amplified)
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him],
by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God's own, secured) for the day
of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences of sin).
The Apostle Paul clearly understood the sacrifice which Christ made of HIMself upon the Cross at Calvary, and reminds us of the Promise God has made for those who are marked and sealed as HIS own.

 

Monday June 9, 2008       "Tabernacle!"
Hebrews 9:9 (Amplified)
Seeing that that first [outer portion of the] tabernacle was a parable (a visible symbol or type
or picture of the present age). In it gifts and sacrifices are offered, and yet
are incapable of perfecting the conscience or of cleansing and renewing the inner man of the worshiper.
The LORD commissioned the contruction of both the tent and the temple, earthly and manmade dwellings where HIS Glorious Presence could manifest among HIS people.

 

Friday June 13, 2008       "Spiritual Odometer!"
Romans 15:29 (Amplified)
And I know that when I do come to you, I shall come
in the abundant blessing of the Gospel of Christ.
The Apostle Paul expressed his most sincere desire to advance the Kingdom message, having far less to do with the distance that he would ultimately travel, knowing that his destiny was to preach the Gospel of Christ, regardless of where he was.

 

Monday June 16, 2008       "POWER LIFTing!"
1 Corinthians 2:7 (Amplified)
But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden
[from the human understanding] and now revealed to us by God--[that wisdom]
which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification
[to lift us into the glory of His presence].
Quite often Believers in Christ will be confronted with accusation and contempt much like the Apostle Paul was, not so much because of their confession of who Jesus is, but of the unmistakeable POWER of God's Spirit operating in their lives.

 

Tuesday June 17, 2008       "Holy is YOUR Name!"
Luke 11:1 (Amplified)
THEN HE was praying in a certain place; and when He stopped,
one of His disciples said to Him,
Lord, teach us to pray,
Father, YOUR Mercy and Grace overwhelm me. YOUR Compassion and Love sustain me. YOUR WORD is so much more than mere letters printed on paper.....

 

Wednesday June 18, 2008       "Everyday Communion!"
Acts 2:42 (Amplified)
And they steadfastly persevered, devoting themselves constantly to the instruction
and fellowship of the apostles, to the breaking of bread
[including the Lord's Supper] and prayers.
Vitally important and equally necessary, are two descriptions that could easily be used to define 'Communion', constant FELLOWSHIP among one another as Believers in Christ and with our heavenly Father.

 

Thursday June 19, 2008       "Offer HIM Praise!"
Hebrews 13:15 (Amplified)
Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God
a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that
thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.
As the LORD inspires and instructs me in understanding who Christ Jesus is through HIS Spirit, HE directs me to other scriptures that teach me about the Offering of PRAISE.

 

Friday June 20, 2008       "OPENing PRAYER!"
Colossians 4:2-3 (Amplified)
Be earnest and unwearied and steadfast in your prayer [life],
being [both] alert and intent in [your praying] with thanksgiving.
And at the same time pray for us also, that God may open a door
to us for the Word (the Gospel), to proclaim the mystery concerning Christ
(the Messiah) on account of which I am in prison;
The Apostle Paul knew that the unmistakeable POWER of Prayer, where asking God to unlock and open doors was on his list of answered prayers.

 

Monday June 23, 2008       "No Longer Ashamed!"
2 Corinthians 10:7-8 (Amplified)
Look at [this obvious fact] which is before your eyes. If anyone is confident
that he is Christ's, let him reflect and remind himself that
even as he is Christ's, so too are we.
For even though I boast rather freely about our power and authority,
which the Lord gave for your upbuilding and not for demolishing you,
yet I shall not be put to shame [for exceeding the truth],
It could quite possibly have been his earlier reputation as a persecutor of Believers in Christ that prompted the Apostle Paul to pen these WORDs, under the inspiration of Holy Spirit.

 

Tuesday June 24, 2008       "Living BOLDLY!"
Acts 14:3 (Amplified)
So [Paul and Barnabas] stayed on there for a long time, speaking freely and fearlessly
and boldly in the Lord, Who continued to bear testimony to the Word of His grace,
granting signs and wonders to be performed by their hands.
Luke writes that our LORD continued advancing the WORK of HIS Kingdom through Paul and Barnabas, using their OBEDIENCE to the Gospel and their SUBMISSION to Holy Spirit, speaking FEARLESSLY of Freedom and POWER, bearing BOLD Testimony of Christ Jesus as God's LIVING WORD.

 

Wednesday June 25, 2008       "Kindling for The FIRE!"
Luke 12:49 (New International Version)
(Jesus speaking)
"I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!...."
Awakened by an alarm, sirens wailing in the distance and billows of smoke spiral skyward, this is a sure sign that something is BURNING.

 

Thursday June 26, 2008       "ReFRESHing WORD!"
Philippians 1:14 (Amplified)
And [also] most of the brethren have derived fresh confidence in the Lord
because of my chains and are much more bold to speak and publish fearlessly
the Word of God [acting with more freedom and indifference to the consequences]
The Apostle Paul was quick to mention the FRESH CONFIDENCE that many Believers received from learning of his perseverance in Speaking Boldly and Fearlessly Proclaiming the Gospel while imprisoned.

 

Friday June 27, 2008       "Kingdom TRUTHs!"
Philippians 1:14 (Amplified)
(Jesus speaking)
(And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand!
The LORD births each Believer as New Creatures by Holy Spirit. HIS WORD washes us thoroughly and teaches us HIS Thoughts and Ways, and guides us as we journey to walk daily in LOVE.

 

Monday June 30, 2008       "Signs of LIFE!"
Philippians 1:28 (Amplified)
And do not [for a moment] be frightened or intimidated in anything by your opponents
and adversaries, for such [constancy and fearlessness] will be a clear sign
(proof and seal) to them of [their impending] destruction, but [a sure token and evidence]
of your deliverance and salvation, and that from God.
Mentioned consistently throughout God's WORD, from Genesis to Revelation, it is Holy Spirit WHO guides and empowers men and women to accomplish the Kingdom WORK of Bearing Fruit which God desires.
