"Forwarding Address!"
The Apostle Paul understood all to well the cross of Christ, unmatched in it's significance to the Power and Value of Eternal Life.
Many in Paul's day surely questioned what he preached, not having fully understood God's Promise concerning Redemption, and never once associated the Lamb of God with the Lamb of Passover, neither spiritually much less physically.
As crucifixion was primarily relegated as a death sentence for criminals, few could comprehend or embrace the thought of receiving LIFE from such a cruel, humiliating and tormenting death.
2000 years ago, Christ Jesus hung between heaven and earth, fulfilling God's unique Plan in such a visible way, as HIS death abolished both my physical torment and my spiritual depravity, giving LIFE to all who would accept this Provision of Love.
Whereas Paul mentions, he choose to preach the Good News of the Gospel, thus bringing a clear and understandable explanation of the Victory attained by Jesus at Calvary, as Eternity in the Holy Presence of God will be rewarded to all who in Faith accept the fortune of knowledge which Truth brings.
My own need for Redemption is made known throughout God's WORD, where neither was the question of Christ as man's Savior and Redeemer of any less worth in Paul's day than is it the question being addressed here today, but will I see the value placed upon my soul as God's primary reason for giving HIS Son, so that the Forwarding ADDRESS of my Eternal Home will now be in Heaven.
