"Persistance!"
Consistent and uncompromising, are what the Apostle Paul desired most to convey in his letter to the Philippian Believers in Christ, exalting and magnifying the Glory and Praise that belongs only to our Savior and Lord.
Eagerness to pursue the burning Passion that so engulfs one's heart, proclaiming Christ as Lord and living as a testimony to the transforming Power of Holy Spirit, seems evident by the life of Paul, chronicled in such a way as to be informative and uplifting at the same time.
With every effort, Paul seeks to direct his readers in becoming visible and productive emmisaries of the Gospel, which means sacrificially serving others for the sake of Christ.
Both while he lived and most assuredly after his death, do I see Paul's committment and dedication in remaining persistent to God's calling, most importantly being the excersize of his own Faith during times of extreme opposition and persecution, encouraging and inspiring other Believers to remain strong.
Never a popular position is one's stand against evil or injustice, yet another to declare with such boldness, that Righteousness attained through Christ is more than just a virtue but an action springing forth from the depths of one's heart that is without question uncompromisingly dedicated to bearing God's Truth and Light as an eternal absolute.
Granted that countless saints in past centuries have lived AND died, many martyred for the sake of Christ, yet none lacked vision as to the Resurrection Power that guarded and guided them as they Obediently fulfilled their calling from God.
