The Apostle John records these WORDs of Christ spoken while HE was teaching in the city of Capernaum, reminding HIS listeners of the food which Father God provided for the Israelites during their journey in the wilderness.

Jesus was teaching them, that LIFE was found only in HIM, and by partaking of HIS body as their heavenly 'manna', they would have to seek HIM daily for nourishment.

Being unable to live and thrive on 'yesterday's' manna, it is imperative that I understand what Christ is teaching.

'Feeding' my spiritual appetite, comes by hearing God's WORD, and only by my Faith in God and HIS Provision, will I ever live the abundant LIFE that HE so deeply desires for me to have.

Physically, my heart requires blood to carry nourishment to every part of my body, that is exactly what Christ means when HE explains that HE supplies the Blood which gives LIFE that is everlasting.

Through every valley and over every mountain, God Faithfully supplies 'manna' for my hunger, quenching my thirst for LIFE with the Precious Blood of Christ, and as I eat and drink of HIS WORD, my Thanks to HIM is Praise that comes from a heart saturated with LIFE from heaven above.

O'Lord, my hungry soul is fed with YOUR Bread from heaven, YOUR 'table of plenty' is filled with drink and fine meats! Satisfying my thirst with the New Wine of YOUR Spirit, I drink deeply from the Cup of Refreshing!! Guide me into the paths of those who hunger and thirst, that they too may be fed forever with heavenly manna!!!
