25 Iyar 5768 (Hebrew 8th Month) "Tranquilizing!"
As the Apostle Paul explains the difference between the death that result from the thoughts of the carnal mind and of the LIFE which is granted to those whose mind is guided by Holy Spirit, he provides a clever argument concerning Eternity.
Life and death are opposites, one leads to destruction and the other into PEACE, most people would choose the latter by reason of clear judgement based upon the resulting end.
However, Paul contends that Holy Spirit births Believers with the same mind and thoughts which Christ Jesus proclaimed would produce Righteousness, a position which is pleasing and acceptable in the sight of a Holy God.
Throughout God's WORD are accounts of men and women who sought PEACE, their hearts yearning for a LIFE which produces results that remain forever.
Choosing the alternate route brings about frustration and hopelessness in their lives, quite clearly the opposite of what Paul deliberated so intently and passionately about in his letters to the 1st century Believers.
Wounded by the choices many make, the healing which comes from Holy Spirit, comforts and soothes aching hearts, restoring tranquility where strife once dominated.
Christ Jesus came declaring boldly God's Promise of Eternal LIFE, Paul continued expounding upon that message throughout his ministry.
Guided by God's Spirit, Believers must encourage those who desire Life and PEACE, leading them into the caring and outstretched arms of Christ, for any other choice they could make only leads to a painful and undesireable ending.
