'A Warrior's Daily Journal'Friday January 30, 2009 (5 Shevat 5769) "Found in Persistent
Faith!" Luke 18:8 (Amplified Bible) (Jesus speaking) I tell you, He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [ persistence in] faith on the earth? These WORDs of Christ bear much Hope and Truth, for this generation as much as they did in the generation during HIS life while on earth. The Promise to defend, protect and avenge those who hold fast in Faith, until the day of HIS Glorious return. Through centuries of adversity and oppresion. it has been Faith that has sustained many, who held tightly to the Hopefull fulfillment of this Promise. We need only to read the accounts of those who walked with Christ, to see and recognize the Power of HIS Spirit, and the Victory attained at Calvary over 2000 years ago. Whenever our situation changes, either our Praise and Thanks or our prayerful petitions, demonstrate our response of Faithfullness to those around us who are unprotected and defenseless due to the lack of them having and living in a Covenant relationship of Righteousness and Holiness with the Creator and Sustainer of LIFE. How else will those outside the Kingdom know of this Promise of Redemption and Salvation? Unless they hear from the lips of those who are persistent in Faith to Proclaim the Good News as we offer Praises, Thanksgiving and Prayer to the Eternal Keeper of HIS Covenant, the Son of Man, Christ Jesus, Yeshua, Immanuel, King of kings and Lord of lords. O'Lord, impress upon my
heart, the need of those who are defenseless and
unprotected, that my lips will Faithfully
declare YOUR message of Life. I am that
generation which longs to see YOUR coming in the clouds
for YOUR Pure and Spotless Bride. May I never rest in my
labors, 'till YOU come in all YOUR Glory
and Splendor. My lips will Forever Praise YOUR
Holy Name, Amen
"Clothed for a
Wedding!" Matthew 22:11 (Amplified
Bible) (Jesus speaking) But when the king came in to view
the guests, he looked intently at a man there who had on no
wedding
garment. Christ uses another parable of a king who invited many guests, and soons finds that one was inappropriately dressed for such an occassion. This king confronts this man for his obvious lack of preparation, and has him expelled from the banquet. Believers must be both filled with God's Spirit for Power and have Living Water as our true source of Life. Being also clothed appropriately with the Robes of Righteousness, necessary and required for the 'Wedding of the Ages'. The 'New Wine' which Christ Jesus speaks of, must be poured into 'New Wineskins', for if it is poured into old wineskins, they will burst and be useless and must be discarded. This defines the Spiritual Transformation of our whole being by the Power of God's Spirit, from lives frazzled and worn by abuse and neglect. Yet it is our Father who desires that we be made 'New' again by the same Power that raised HIS Son from the grave of death. As I remember my own wedding day, my beautiful bride was dressed appropriately for the occasion. When I saw her, I was very pleased with her beauty, for within her heart dwelled an everlasting love for her husband. Those guests attending are a reminder which resembles that as Believers we are the Bride of Christ, and we must be clothed in HIS 'finest' for a Wedding that we and generations before us have so lovingly longed for. O'Lord, I desire to be clothed and
ready for my Bridegroom when HE comes. Filled with Life and
Power by YOUR Spirit, that I may be dressed in the finest
of garments. For in YOUR Presence I long to be, consumed
by YOUR Glory forever, Amen
"Display of
POWER!" Romans 9:17 (Amplified
Bible) For the
Scripture says to Pharaoh, I have raised you up for this very
purpose of displaying My power in [dealing with] you, so that
My name may be proclaimed the whole world over.
Although the situation looked bleak for the children of Israel, and many times looks hopeless to the eyes of unbelievers, yet God's Plan remains Sovereign and Eternal in Purpose and Fulfillment. Several New Testament Apostles wrote concerning Christ Jesus, Proclaiming to the world of God's Provision of a Savior, refering many times to Old Testament 'Scripture' as evidence of HIS Power to overcome oppression and persecution. The WORD of God records that HIS Spirit is POWER, and those who accept HIS Promise of Salvation through Christ, are quaranteed the Gift of Holy Spirit. My life as a Believer in Christ, is to be a 'Display of HIS Power' to those around me, for it is only by God's Mercy that I have submitted my will to HIS Spirit, to be used however HE desires to further the Gospel throughout the entire world. The Apostles Peter, James and Paul, and many other Believers in the New Testament displayed God's Power of Holy Spirit, this Truth has survived 2000 years of scrutiny, yet it is still remains God's Sovereign Will that triumphs.
O'Lord, how Merciful YOU are in all YOUR Ways.
Favor YOUR servant to speak boldly YOUR Gospel of Grace, I
pray. That many hearts will turn to YOU for Salvation, and
their minds will be renewed by YOUR Spirit. On my face will I
fall in YOUR Presence, O'Lord, and cry Holy, Holy, Holy, is
YOUR Name in all the earth. By YOUR Spirit will YOUR WORD be
Proclaimed, to the whole world, that Christ Jesus is Savior
and Lord. Display YOUR Power in those who serve YOU, O'Lord,
Amen
"Confident
HOPE!" Romans 5:4 (Amplified
Bible) And endurance (fortitude) develops
maturity of character (approved faith and tried integrity).
And character [of this sort] produces [the habit of] joyful
and confident hope of eternal salvation. Countless generations, millions of people have searched endlessly for Happiness and Joy through the lives of the famed and celebrated, finding only despair and regret in the emptyness of their search. Only Life that is Eternal, and found only in Christ Jesus, soothes the heart which has been burdened by the guilt and shame which results from this misguided quest. God's Spirit of Righteousness exudes the Power to conquer those daily struggles which many generations have faced and failed to overcome, because maturity has eluded them. The Apostle Paul became Victorious over those obstacles which seemed at every turn to weaken his Faith and destroy his Integrity. Unshakeable Confidence and unfailing Hope, comes from having a committed and deep rooted allegiance to Christ, which Holy Spirit strengthens during these struggles. I know God's Promise is fulfilled through Christ, and that Eternal TRUTH is what develops this character which Paul describes, where Confidence and Maturity brings about a bolder and ever increasing determination to share the Gospel of Life. O'Lord, my Joy comes from
YOUR Spirit of Power, which destroys the enemy and leads me to
Victory. Grow my Faith each day O'Lord, that I might please
YOU, deepen my committment to speak YOUR WORDs of Life. YOUR
Glory surrounds me and causes my heart to leap, for the Joy of
knowing others will find YOUR Grace. Many will be strengthened
and their Happiness made complete, Eternal Life is assured by
believing in YOUR Son alone. YOU are my Lord! Forever and
Amen
"Operation:
Victory!" Hebrews 4:12 (Amplified Bible) For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart. These WORDs inspired by Holy Spirit and recorded by the writer of Hebrews, reaffirms what the majority of the 1st century Apostles and Disciples were proclaiming as Truth. A debate over whether God's Power was an active, continual and ongoing Work of God through Believers. Bringing this same debate into the 21st century, it seems that I must refrain from 'dulling' what God has spoken of as 'sharper' than any two-edged sword. Any limiting of Holy Spirt as God's assigned and designated 'Weapon of Warfare', who manifested in many instances, both as Power to perform signs and wonders and Authority over that spiritual realm which Christ declared as conquered territory. Territory which Believers have gained by inheritance through HIS death and triumphant resurrection to Glorious and Everlasting Life is an ongoing battle for many. I must NOT be 'simple-minded' in my understanding of this, NO, I MUST be 'Christ-minded' concerning Holy Spirit, who SPEAKS in Power and Authority, inhabiting Believers as God's appointed and designated 'Kings and Priests'. Today, I must acknowledge and declare HIS Spirit as True and Living, both Alive and Effective as testimony to God's unchanging WORD. I tend to agree with the Apostle Paul, there is nothing more 'dead'lier, than a dispatched 'Warrior', a Believer in Christ', who has decided by their own interpretation, that God's Spirit for some unproven reason, has been divinely 'recalled' from HIS assignment in the lives of Believers. My God GIVES HIS Spirit in fullness to all who desire HIM, and will submit to HIS Authority in their life. Perceiving that there is either NO spiritual warfare currently taking place in the earth, OR too many whose walk teters back and forth across the 'dividing line' between 'slave and servant', have bypassed and ignored the 'dispensation' of God's WORD, and have decided that HIS 'Sword of the Spirit' is ineffective and/or useless for the Lord's generation of today. Either 'Advance the Kingdom of God' upon the earth, or be as one 'exposed and sifted' by HIS Spiritual Counsel, who will then render a judgement which amounts to Eternal 'banishment' from the Very Presence of God! O'Lord, YOU are a
Fire and a Rock, and YOU burn and crush YOUR every enemy. I
stand each morning in awe of YOUR Power, to breathe Life into
souls once dead. The world sees only dry bones, but I SEE an
ARMY. Filled with YOUR Spirit, I will die only once and live
forever, those who would ignore YOUR WORD, will die twice and
be dead forever. Rise up, O' Army of God, listen to the sound,
the earth and all of it's fullness, belongs to the Lord, our
Savior and King. Proclaim Victory in Christ Jesus, all around
the world! Amen
"Promise
Provider!" Romans 4:1 (New American Standard Bible) For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, Faith, the kind of Faith that the Apostle Paul is talking about here, come from fully knowing and believing that Jehovah God is a Promise Keeper. HIS Promise to never forsake us, when everyone else around us has. To continually be with us, night and day, encouraging us through every difficult time. Rejoicing with us, when HE has met our need, often in the very moment of deep unrest. Our heavenly Father, as Paul says, guarantees that the Promise, is extended to all of mankind. Fullness of Life, Provision for our need and a Comforter who bears us through those difficult and uncertain times. The Grace of God is such that, when all else matters not, it is HIS Promise of Forgiveness, Strength and Power, delivered and sustained by HIS Spirit that matters most and takes each of us to a higher level of HIS Glory. Our Testimony of HIS Grace must bear Witness of the Truth, partaking of such a rich Inheritance, that others will choose to accept HIS Promise and be partakers as well. O'Lord, from YOUR Throne flows a River of Life, free to all who seek refuge. By YOUR Grace does my heart know Peace, YOUR Spirit teaches me the depths of YOUR Mercy. Guide me into the Pathway of Righteousness, and fill my mouth with YOUR WORDs of Hope. Good News to every ear, LIFE to all who will call upon YOU. All this I pray in the Majestic Name of Jesus, Amen
'A Warrior's Daily Journal'Monday January 19, 2009 (23 Tevet 5769) "Family
Resemblance!" Ephsians 3:14-19 (New American Standard Bible) For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. To say I was overwhelmed is clearly an understatement, when I read this passage in a few other translations. Paul mentions that every 'family' in heaven above and on the earth below, those who belong to HIM, have received a very special name. 'HIS Beloved Ones', those who have been born of HIS Spirit, and have been given a Name. Not just any name, but The Name which marks Believers with a bloodline and DNA that is without question of Royal descent. As we read in the WORD of Christ Jesus as the only begotten Son of God, we also find that after HIS Resurrection, Jesus is called HIS Firstborn Son of many Sons and Daughters to come after HIM. The reference that Paul makes here in his prayer, provides clear testimony of our 'rebirth' and 'adoption' into a family which posesses the same characteristics and traits of our Father. He mentions that God's family exists both in heaven above and upon the earth below. This again provides udisputable evidence that Holy Spirit restores the family lineage. In the 'family' of God, we have inherited as Paul says, the riches of HIS Glory, which include Strength and Power among other gifts which Royalty would posess. Believers are not weak in the way we think of frailness, nor have we been left on our own to fend for ourselves without guidance and direction. Each member of God's family, whether they be a Son or Daughter, has been given a Spiritual inheritance that resembles our Father in every detail. Love that goes 'soul' deep, Compassion that 'crosses' all boundaries and a Destiny that is 'not of this world' in granduer. It is through our prayers, such as the one that Paul prayed for the Ephesian Believers, that we can give Honor, Thanks and Praise to our heavenly Father, who has seated us with Christ Jesus in the heavenlies. A 'family' Promise that will be for Eternity. Father, bless my brothers and sisters with every good and perfect gift. Give them an abundance of YOUR Spirit for direction in their daily lives. May YOUR Kingdom flourish and produce a harvest that will Exalt and Glorify YOUR Holy Name, Amen
'A Warrior's Daily Journal'Friday January 16, 2009 (20 Tevet 5769) "The Fullest
Measure!" As I read these WORDs written by Paul, I discern God's Spirit urging me towards that deeper level of relationship in my Knowledge and Power of Christ Jesus and the ongoing business of Holy Spirit guiding me to that 'Fullest Measure'. Paul mentions my 'inner man', known as the 'heart of man', wherein all that I am and ever Hope to be must fervently and passionately be 'rooted and grounded' in the Love of Christ. Listening to God's Voice, requires me to 'Get closer to HIM'. So close in fact, that all I think or say is to be birthed in my heart by Holy Spirit. Obedience to HIS request that I seek each day, to know HIM in such a deeper way, I will begin to lose sight of myself and my fleshly desire to 'measure up' to some standard that is genuinely opposed to that which my Father in heaven desires. I will not rest in the current state of where I am in the 'Knowledge and Power' of Christ, because I am nowhere close to where I desire to be. Father, I confess my longing and hunger for more of YOU. That YOU would grant me, according to the riches of YOUR glory, to be strengthened with power through Holy Spirit, so that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith; and that I might be deeply rooted and grounded in YOUR Love desiring to comprehend with all the saints, the Love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that I may be filled up and overflowing with all YOUR fullness. All my Praises belong to YOU, Forever and Amen
Thursday January 15, 2009 (19 Tevet 5769) "Upon that
Altar!" 1 Peter 2:24 (Amplified Bible) He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed. These WORDs of the Apostle Peter, paint a vivid picture in my heart, of God's deep Love for me. Broken fellowship between mankind and God is due to the sin of one man Adam. Rebellion and rejection keep many from having a Restored relationship with Christ. Death reigns upon mankind, as punishment for the Rejection of God and HIS Love, Christ Jesus came as the ONLY ONE who could Restore that relationship. HE PERSONALLY bore my every sin, sickness and infirmity, was despised by the world and was Obedient to death. Where by HIS Glorious Resurrection we are promised LIFE. That physical wooden cross upon which Christ was crucified, as Peter says, was the Altar that would forever ALTER the lives of all who will receive HIM. My complete and total healing came because of God's Love which HE expressed through the sacrifice of HIS only begotten Son, Christ Jesus. I must sacrifice my self, as Jesus said, dying daily and being ALTERED and TRANSFORMED into HIS likeness by Holy Spirit, bearing witness to God's LOVE and Redeeming Grace.
'A Warrior's Daily Journal'Wednesday January 14, 2009 (18 Tevet 5769) "Lifted into HIS
Presence!" 1 Corinthians 2:6-7 (Amplified Bible) Yet when we are among the full-grown (spiritually mature Christians who are ripe in understanding), we do impart a [higher] wisdom (the knowledge of the divine plan previously hidden); but it is indeed not a wisdom of this present age or of this world nor of the leaders and rulers of this age, who are being brought to nothing and are doomed to pass away. But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden [from the human understanding] and now revealed to us by God--[that wisdom] which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification [to lift us into the glory of His presence]. I desire to be a fully mature Believer, filled to overflowing, with the Knowledge and Wisdom of Jehovah God. A level of spiritual 'ripening', where my every thought and action reflects those of Christ Jesus. This is the heart-cry of many Believers, to receive the fullest measure of Holy Spirit, the manifested Power of God in our lives. As Paul writes to the Corinthians, to be sent forth as messengers of this once hidden revelation, that as we serve Christ Faithfully, we will be 'lifted into the Glory of HIS Presence'. It is there, 'in HIS Glorious Presence', that we receive greater revelation as to the heart and nature of God. Once a Believer has been in this place of Holiness, the WORDs of Knowledge begin to flow into our spirit, much similiar to how the Old Testament Prophets described. The 'Voice of many waters' floods the very depths of my being. A literal 'washing' that can not be explained, yet can only be understood by those who have themselves been in that very same place. Awakeing our heart(spirit man) to that realm, is the assignment of Holy Spirit, where Paul states, we have not been given the spirit of this world. Rather we have received the Spirit of God, to bring us into a relationship so deep with our heavenly Father, that nothing compares to it. Those everyday assaults of the enemy, are concentrated and deliberate attacks, aimed at weakening us and destroying our intimacy with the Lord. We are urged by Paul to return to that 'Secret Place' of refreshing, where it is there we are strengthened by the Lord. While there 'in HIS Glorious Presence' we receive 'every good and perfect gift' which enriches our lives into the mature Beliver we are so hungry to be. O'Lord, by YOUR Spirit have YOU brought me to this place, where I see and know YOUR Son of Promise. In HIM does my life become whole, restored to fullness. Guide my every step by YOUR Spirit, that a Bold messenger of YOUR Grace I will be. Transformed by YOUR Power, to live and breathe, desiring above all else to be in YOUR Glorious Presence. My voice shouts Praises to that Name which is above all names, Amen
Tuesday January 13, 2009 (17 Tevet 5769) "Show us YOUR
Glory!" John 17:24 (Amplified Bible) Father, I desire that they also whom You have entrusted to Me [as Your gift to Me] may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory, which You have given Me [Your love gift to Me]; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. This is Jesus' prayer that depicts HIS deep Love for those who come to HIM by simple Faith. HE desires to be Glorified in us by Holy Spirit, as well as receive Honor and Glory through our lives as we reflect that same Love for others. When we sacrifice our own selfish desires to be honored among men of the earth, we are to remember that Jesus came both in honor of HIS Father, and to Honor HIS Father by being One with HIM. This is a rather difficult thing to understand, unless God's Spirit reveals the relationship that this Son has with HIS Father. God's WORD says that HE will share HIS Glory with no other, yet as a Believer, one who lives each day by Faith, I am joined with Christ in that Glory that the Father has given my Lord since even before the Creation. Even as Jesus told Peter, that man had not revealed who HE is, but rather it is God's Spirit who reveals the Son, it is important to understand that we can neither know nor understand Truth without having received this revelation from Holy Spirit. The Old Testament Prophets, Isaiah and Jeremiah cried out for God to reveal HIS Glory, and yet when HE did reveal this to them, they were overcome by HIS splendor. The fullness of God's Glory will One Day penetrate every man's heart, and that will be when every eye is opened, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Christ Jesus is Lord. Men's hearts who have rejected the Son will fail them on that Glorious Day, and of those who have cried those WORDs, 'Show us YOUR Glory' will receive their rightful share of the Inheritance of Forever being in HIS Presence. Those who are known by HIM as Kingdom Sons and Daughters, the betrothed Bride of Christ, will then be escorted into the Holy Chamber where their voices will ring in continual unison, 'To HIM be all Glory!' O'Lord, how Glorious and Holy is YOUR Name in all the earth. Be mindful of YOUR Promise to forgive my sin, and set me before YOU as a Testimony of YOUR Grace. Prepare my heart to fully know YOUR Mercy, that my lips will speak of YOUR Love night and day. Reign over me with YOUR Holy Fire, Purify me from every unclean thing, that in YOUR Presence I may stand. Wash me with the Precious Blood that cleanses me from unrighteousnes, that my eyes might behold YOUR Splendor, Power and Glory forever, Amen
'A Warrior's Daily Journal'Monday January 12, 2009 (16 Tevet 5769) "Clear as
Day!" Acts 20:11 (Amplified Bible) When Paul had gone back upstairs and had broken bread and eaten [with them], and after he had talked confidentially and communed with them for a considerable time--until daybreak [in fact]--he departed. Luke records that around midnight, a young man who was listening to Paul, was overcome by sleep, fell out a window and was presumed to be dead from the fall. What a Glorious testimony for many of us, whose lives were once just like the young man, dead and in darkness. Yet someone directed by God's Spirit, much like Paul, a messenger of Truth came and spoke WORDs of Life over us. The Gospel has the Power to bring us from a point of death, held in bondage by darkness, and into Life where we see Christ Jesus as the Light of the World. To Believers who are alive in Christ, it is as 'Clear as Day', yet to those who remain asleep spiritually, they continue to suffer and die from the 'fall'. There is much Rejoicing with shouts of Praise to be given to the Lord when someone receives Life through the hearing of the Gospel. Those who remained and listened to Paul that night, gained a deeper understanding of Christ and HIS Power to overcome death. To this day, there is POWER in the WORD of God, Holy Spirit manifesting LIFE in the testimonies of Believers. We have but one choice, to Proclaim this message of Christ, HIS Resurrection and the Gift of Life to those who are dead. For there is no other Truth in heaven above nor in the earth below, which can bring Peace and Comfort, but the Prince of Peace and the Comforter who testifies through the lips of those who have been given Life in the Name of Jesus. O' Sovereign Lord, YOUR Spirit of Life breathes YOUR WORD upon us, that we may Live and not die. This must be our testimony, to YOUR Power and Love. While darkness once held many in the chains of death, their eyes and ears have now be opened to hear YOUR Voice and see YOUR Salvation. Guide me as I deliver YOUR message of Truth, that many will be raised from the dead. Work through me O'Lord, those greater Kingdom WORKs that have been spoken over me. Souls hang in the balance of Eternity, and I must Boldly Declare death and darkness have been defeated, and that our Victory to New Life is found only in YOUR Son, Christ Jesus, Amen
'A Warrior's Daily Journal'Friday January 9, 2009 (13 Tevet 5769) "Advance
Notice!" Matthew 11:12-19 (Amplified Bible) From the days of John the Baptist until now, the
kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful
men lay hold of it. For all the Prophets and the Law
prophesied until John. And if you are willing to accept it, he
is the Elijah who was to come. He who has ears, let him hear.
"To what can I compare this generation? They are like children
sitting in the marketplaces and calling out to
others: These WORDs spoken by Christ Jesus are an 'Advance Notice', that the Kingdom of heaven would proceed far beyond every earthly and physical boundary. Those who listened 'with ears to hear' were presented with a very clear and life changing announcement. Many of those who listened as Jesus spoke, knew of John and his bold declaration, 'But after me will One come who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. HE will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with Fire.' Jesus would hear later of John's death, yet HE assured HIS followers that John was a Forerunner of the Good News, telling them that the Kingdom of God had come, and was now at hand. This account sends forth the undeniable message of God's Provision for those who chose to become Believers in Christ Jesus. That as Jesus, the Son of God, came to live among us as a man, HE brought with HIM a message of urgency from the Throne room of heaven. Our lives are bordered by physical birth and death, yet Jesus gives us a foretaste of our spiritual future with HIM, Which will by comparison be much, much different than what we presently see and experience here on the earth. O'Lord, YOUR WORD promises a Hope and a Future for me, as I labor in YOUR Kingdom Work while here on the earth. YOUR Spirit of Prophecy speaks loudly to my heart, saying 'Rise Up and Proclaim MY Salvation'. For in this, YOUR Advance Notice is decreed throughout the ages, the Message of Eternal Life which has no end. My heart rejoices that through YOUR Love for me, I now have YOUR Spirit to quide my every footstep. To be a testimony to YOUR Majesty and Power, for that alone must I live to speak with Boldness. 'A Warrior's Daily Journal'Thursday January 8, 2009 (12 Tevet 5769) "The Revolution
Kingdom!" Acts 5:37-39 (Amplified Bible) And after this one rose up Judas the Galilean,
[who led an uprising] during the time of the census, and drew
away a popular following after him; he also perished and all
his adherents were scattered. Now in the present case let me
say to you, stand off (withdraw) from these men and let them
alone. For if this doctrine or purpose or undertaking or
movement is of human origin, it will fail (be overthrown and
come to nothing); But if it is of God, you will not be able to
stop or overthrow or destroy them; you might even be found
fighting against God! The Lord is mustering HIS Warriors in preparation for the Battle of the Ages. Where Righteousness and Truth will march Victoriously against every form of evil. These Warriors will be under the direction of God's Spirit, having Order and Purpose, much different than the band of rebels that Luke mentions here. It was Gamaliel, a Pharisee and teacher of the Law, who rose and spoke to the Sanhedrin regarding those past revolts and uprisings. Those earlier revolutions came to nothing, because they were without Order. For Peter was the one that stood and Proclaimed that he and those with him, would Obey God rather than obey man. Rightful Authority to command and position those who would serve in the Kingdom of God, has been stripped away from the religious leaders, and has been given to Christ Jesus. Through the direction of God's Spirit, these men would succeed where others failed. Proclaiming the Victory of the Cross, Peter declared that an 'Army dressed for Battle' had been raised up with the same 'Anointing and FirePower' that raised Christ Jesus from the dead. As Believers we are also clothed with the same Spirit of Power that those 1st century Apostles and Disciples were. To be Fully Engaged in a worldwide Revolution, taking up the Sword of God's WORD, against the enemy that has killed, stolen and destroyed so many through the ages. That same Anointing of God's Spirit rests upon Believers today, as we Boldly Proclaim the Gospel. Raiding the enemy's camp, releasing those held captive to live in Freedom and Victory. O'Lord, continue raising up a Mighty Army, a Body United in the cause of Christ. Where Kingdom business is being accomplished on earth, and lives are forever changed by YOUR Power. YOU command and direct Sons and Daughters by YOUR Spirit, to bring Revolution to an anemic and apathetic generation. May we die to our former life that we may Live in that Life that is Eternal and forever, Amen
'A Warrior's Daily Journal'Tuesday January 6, 2009 (10 Tevet 5769) "ReFormed with
LIFE!" Ephesians 4:21-25 (Amplified Bible) Assuming that you have really heard Him and been
taught by Him, as [all] Truth is in Jesus [embodied and
personified in Him], Strip yourselves of your former nature
[put off and discard your old unrenewed self] which
characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt
through lusts and desires that spring from delusion; Paul clearly instructs us here concerning the 'New' nature of Righteousness and Holiness, which we have inherited when Holy Spirit regenerates our heart. We have received HIS most Precious Gift, in order that we become members of HIS One Body. In the image and likeness of God, we are reformed from living our lives to self, which brings forth destruction. To living LIFE in the fullness of every attribute of Christ Jesus. Of those Believers in Ephesus, there were some who struggled with the teaching of how the Divine nature of Christ could be a continual Presence in their lives. There are those even today who continue to wrestle with this Truth. One only has to submit to the Authority of God's Spirit, and the WORK assigned to HIM. This transformation takes place in the spiritual realm, seen neither by the natural eyes nor understood by the natural mind. So being that our attitudes and character traits are realigned with those portayed by Christ Jesus. Hearing God's Voice requires that we silence our own thoughts, and listen intently to HIS WORDs as they speak LIFE into us, and we must respond to them in Obedience so that our neighbors see that LIFE and Truth lives where death once reigned. O'Lord, speak to us with the Voice of many waters, a heavenly sound that drowns the desires of our natural selfish man. Wash us with the cleansing Water of Life, that we may live and not die. Speak to the new man that we now are, that we may manifest YOUR WORKs each day. Reveal YOUR Glory in the earth through us, as YOUR Name is Exalted and Praised with hearts filled with Joy and Peace, Amen
'A Warrior's Daily Journal'Monday January 5, 2009 (9 Tevet 5769) "Victorious in
Faith!" 1 John 5:3-4 (Amplified Bible) For the [true] love of God is this: that we do
His commands [keep His ordinances and are mindful of His
precepts and teaching]. And these orders of His are not
irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievous). For whatever is
born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the
victory that conquers the world, even our
faith. John the Apostle, clearly defines what the TRUE Love of God is, where each Believer must remain Obedient in keeping HIS Ordinances and Precepts. A Great Commission was instituted by Christ Jesus, and by our continued Faith in HIS Victory, do we overcome each day's trials, conquering them with a resolve that is founded upon HIS Kingdom. Since the days of the early church over 2000 years ago, there has and will always be Faithful Believers who dynamically overPOWER those obstacles which attempt to thwart the advancement of the Gospel, by the same Power that resurrected Christ. Christ conquered death, hell and the grave, a Victory too great for any other man or woman born of flesh and blood on the earth to accomplish. Believers are 'Chosen' of God, 'Born' anew by HIS Spirit, and commanded to continue the mission of 'Proclaiming' Freedom to those held as captives. It is God's desire, that HIS children be 'BONDed Together through Faith', having received Holy Spirit as our 'Counselor' who instructs us in HIS 'Precepts and Ordinances'. This is no longer a mystery to those whose Life is hidden in Christ Jesus. O'Lord, I submit my heart to YOUR Spirit today. That I receive from YOU both knowledge and understanding, of YOUR Will and Purpose for my life. BOND me with others who Believe in YOUR Son, where together we will fulfill YOUR Great Commission. It is by YOUR Spirit of Love who directs me, into the battle against every stronghold, Proclaiming VICTORY in Christ Jesus. Through HIM alone can Salvation be granted. O'Lord, Reign down upon me for I TRUST in YOU. Flooding my soul with YOUR Spirit of Love, Amen
'A Warrior's Daily Journal'Friday January 2, 2009 (6 Tevet 5769) "A Revealing
Manifest!" Romans 8:23 (Amplified Bible) And not only the creation, but we ourselves too, who have and enjoy the firstfruits of the [Holy] Spirit [a foretaste of the blissful things to come] groan inwardly as we wait for the redemption of our bodies [from sensuality and the grave, which will reveal] our adoption (our manifestation as God's sons). The Lord has Commissioned Believers with the Anointing and Authority of Holy Spirit and has Released them as Sons and Daughters of Light possessing the Power and radiant Glory of the Father's Presence within the earth for a specific Purpose. That Purpose being to Faithfully Proclaim the Provision of Redemption from the Bondages of Sin and Death, and to Declare the Gospel of Healing, Deliverance and Restoration to an audience that has been blinded and deceived to the Truth. Strong WORDs for a people who have been Called and Dispatched with such a Heavenly Manifest, that by the example of these Apostles and Disciples given we are to live as Kingdom Warrior's Victorious in every battle against an enemy who attempts at every turn to thwart our Mission to deliver the most important edict that has ever been pronounced upon the earth. A Generation of young men and women are being prepared and positioned by the Lord, to invade every corner of this planet with the LIFE Transforming message that has been entrusted to them. To many of us who have responded to the Challenge, Equiping and Training these young Warrior's, it is mandantory that we Rise Up and take Action, lest another generation be disallusioned by our lack of determination. As Paul, Peter and other great men and women of God, I will not cease from being led by Holy Spirit to prepare this generation for the coming days ahead. Their future Destiny in Christ, has been entrusted to us, and we must not fail them nor our Lord and King, WHO gave us such a Glorious mandate to Advance HIS Kingdom within the hearts of those around us. We are to instruct our children in the WORDs of the Lord, that each day they grow to fully realize their Position and Purpose for having been Chosen to fulfill God's Eternal Plan for mankind. O'Lord, direct me by Holy Spirit as I prepare this generation to proceed in Victory. They have been Appointed for such a time as this. Given Power from on High, to forcefully Advance YOUR Kingdom against every attack of the enemy who attempts to destroy them each day. I take hold of YOUR every Promise, raising the Sword of YOUR WORD in this battle, igniting the Fire, bringing Boldness and Courage into the hearts of YOUR Manifested Son's and Daughters. Give us the Vision that sets our hearts to seek YOUR face, release upon us that mantle that draws forth Holiness and Righteousness. May our lives be Pleasing and Acceptable in YOUR Sight O'Lord. For YOUR Kingdom of Power will fill the earth with Glory and Honor, Praise to YOUR Holy Name, Amen |
