Colossians 1:23 (Amplified Bible) [And this He will do]
provided that you continue to stay with and in the faith [in
Christ], well-grounded and settled and steadfast, not shifting
or moving away from the hope [which rests on and is inspired
by] the glad tidings (the Gospel), which you heard and which
has been preached [as being designed for and offered without
restrictions] to every person under heaven, and of which
[Gospel] I, Paul, became a minister.
As Paul, we as Believers in Christ who have received
our 'Calling' and have also received God's Gift of Power
through HIS Spirit to edify, teach, and empower us, we must
respond to Holy Spirit and follow those directions for our
lives into the 'Purpose' for which HIS Kingdom is to be
advanced in the earth. Paul could just as well have left the
city of Damascus with a 'Sense and Feeling' of being 'Closer
to God' as others have done, but then there would have been
far less accomplished in the way of 'Increase in God's
Kingdom'.
Confronted by the 'Voice of God', in such a dramatic way,
must not just be considered a coincidence, but our
'Experience' must instill into our heart, a driving ambition
to fulfill that 'Purpose for which God has Called'. 'Receiving
Sight' from the Holy Spirit, is such a Powerful testimony as
it was for Paul, but there must also be a burning within our
hearts for others, an 'Obligation' of sorts, where those
headed down a 'Road' that will ultimately lead to 'Death and
Eternal Separation' from the Very Presence of God, we will
Boldly Declare both the 'WORD and WORKs' of the Gospel to them
along their journey in life.
Paul left Damascus, and as he listened Holy Spirit, he was
also 'Taught and Prepared' by God's WORD in fulfilling of
God's Purpose. He diligently strived to live each and every
day 'Beyond the Destiny and Calling' that had been placed upon
his life. Where the phrase, 'Nothing Lost, Nothing Gained',
carries with it the stigma of an unfilled committment to a
'Purpose', we must never be found guilty of believing,
'Whatever Will Be, Will Be' nor becoming a ''silent witness'
in in our Testimony of God's Provision of Grace and Mercy, but
we will Boldly Declare what HE is doing in our lives.
O'Lord, YOUR Spirit speaks to my heart loudly, of the
WORKs in Christ that YOU have set before me. Talents which I
must be using in YOUR Kingdom, are FOREVER for YOUR Glory, and
not mine!! YOUR Gospel is 'Proclaiming Salvation in Christ' to
lost souls, to me this is more important than anything else.
Drive me each day to 'Speak' YOUR WORDs of Life, loosing my
selfish desire to 'Play' church. My 'Purpose' is to SERVE YOU
in everything that I do, and everything that YOU are 'DUE'
will I surrender of myself! Direct me in all YOUR Ways, O'Lord
that I fulfill YOUR 'Call', Eternal and Everlasting WORD, Amen

"ALTERed by HIS LOVE!"
1 Peter 2:24 (Amplified Bible) He personally bore our sins
in His [own] body on the tree [as on an altar and offered
Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and
live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been
healed.
These WORDs inspired of Holy Spirit and written by
Peter, paint for us a vivid picture in our hearts, of God's
deep Love for each one of us. Broken fellowship between man
and God and the resulting pain and suffering which many have
endured is due to the sin of one man Adam.
Sickness and death once reigned
upon mankind, as punishment for this rejection of God and HIS
Love, but there is Good News, Christ Jesus came as the ONLY
ONE who could restore that relationship and bring healing and
wholeness to us physically as well as spiritually.
Peter tells us that Christ bore my
every sin, sickness and infirmity into HIS own body, was
despised by the world and was Obedient to death, that by
Believing in HIM and surrendering completely to Holy Spirit,
we might be delivered, healed and set free from these and many
other afflictions.
That physical wooden cross upon
which Christ was crucified, as Peter says, was the Altar that
can forever ALTER our lives, but only when we crucify
ourselves and daily walk with HIM by Faith. Our complete and
total healing has been Provisioned by God, because HE
expressed HIS Love through the sacrifice of HIS only begotten
Son, Christ Jesus.
It is upon a spiritual level that we
must sacrifice ourselves, and do as Jesus said, die to
ourselves daily, being ALTERED and TRANSFORMED into HIS
likeness by Holy Spirit, and bear witness to God's LOVE and
Redeeming Grace that is available when we place our lives upon
that sacrificial Altar.
O'Lord, I will
forever Honor YOUR Name, for YOU alone are Righteous and Holy.
From heaven, YOU came in Love, to destroy death and give us
LIFE, taking upon YOURself our diseases and sicknesses. Every
one has been stripped away by those Stripes, and my heart is
renewed by YOUR wounds. YOU O'Lord, desire that I come to the
cross, where YOUR Precious Blood washes away my sin, purifies
and makes me whole again. I will forever Praise YOUR Holy
Name. As YOUR Love is made perfect in me,
Amen

'Preparation Perspectives!'
Luke 1:17 (Amplified Bible) And
he will [himself] go before Him in the spirit and power of
Elijah, to turn back the hearts of the fathers to the
children, and the disobedient and incredulous and
unpersuadable to the wisdom of the upright [which is the
knowledge and holy love of the will of God]--in order to make
ready for the Lord a people [perfectly] prepared [in spirit,
adjusted and disposed and placed in the right moral state].
Luke
opens by giving us an insight into the role which John, the
cousin of Jesus was given as an assignment by God in
'Preparation' for the coming of our 'Savior and King'. As I
look to the WORDs which Luke writes here as inspired by God's
Spirit, I begin to see and understand more of the present day
revelation of HIS purpose for the church.
God's
Spirit of Elijah, has fallen upon this generation of 'Anointed
and Chosen' people of God, to proclaim the 'Day of the Lord',
where the hearts of people will return to their '1st Love'. In
the Book of Revelation, John writes what the Lord's angel
speaks, of discipline and encouragement to the church. However
you choose to view these scriptures, seen as either stages of
the church or as specific directives to individual body, they
are nonetheless written concerning the 'Perspective of
Preparation' which the Bride of Christ must take heed of and
be serious about.
Prophetically speaking, 'in order to make ready for the Lord a
people [perfectly] prepared [in spirit,' it is imperative that
God's promise as written in Joel 2:28-32 be put into
'Perspective' according to this preceeding verse,
Joel
2:1 (Amplified Bible) BLOW THE trumpet in Zion; sound an alarm
on My holy Mount [Zion]. Let all the inhabitants of the land
tremble, for the day of [the judgment of] the Lord is coming;
it is close at hand--
No time
in history has ever before been seen such as these 'Days' in
which we live. As the course of God's Plan plays out, there
will be significant 'signs and wonders' that will precede that
'Glorious Day of the Lord'. Believers in Christ today, are
beginning to see this 'Outpouring' of Holy Spirit, while the
hearts of many have been blinded and fail to see this as
'Fact', they essentially have traded the TRUTH of God for a
lie.
The
long awaited return of Christ Jesus, the 'King of Heaven' who
spoke of such days, is so close at hand, that the world is
trembling and shaking in great anticipation of that
forthcoming 'Day of Restoration', where every knee will bow
and every tongue will confess, Jesus is LORD!
O'Lord,
YOUR WORD remains TRUTH and Light, where every eye will one
day be opened. The darkness will flee from YOUR Presence, as
in the clouds YOU come for YOUR people. There are many souls
still left to hear, of the HOPE and Peace that is found in
YOU. Bring forth from the North, South, East and West, those
who will seek after YOU and YOUR Righteousness, for they will
find in YOU, Eternal LIFE and Rest, Forever and
Amen!

The Principle
Focus!
Luke 8:43-46 (Amplified Bible) And a woman who had suffered
from a flow of blood for twelve years and had spent all her
living upon physicians, and could not be healed by anyone,
Came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment, and
immediately her flow of blood ceased. And Jesus said,
Who is it who touched Me? When all were denying it, Peter and those who were with
him said, Master, the multitudes surround You and press You on
every side! But Jesus said, Someone did touch Me; for I
perceived that [healing] power has gone forth from
Me.
Peter must have considered himself
the designated 'healing liason' for Jesus, as he was viligant
to see that nothing detered the Master in HIS many dealings
with the people who desired to be healed by the Great
Physician. Viewed often as one of the 'inner circle'
disciples, it is also Peter who has a difficult time here
understanding that Christ knew someone of 'Faith' had touched
HIM, for HE felt Power going forth from HIS body. Whether
Peter had deliberately narrowed his focus on the task at hand,
that of getting to the house of Jairus so that Jesus could
heal the temple leader's daughter, it is the 'singlemindness'
of Christ that sought to heal any who would 'stretch forth'
their hand for healing.
Too often, we have hurried to get
to a place of 'appointment', where on the way there we have
overlooked a great need right under our feet so to speak. It
is for the Glory of the Father that Jesus Obediently came to
earth, to bring the message of Freedom and Restoration, and so
often we like Peter, look for the circumstances that will
exponentially advance the cause of Christ, all the while
missing an opportunity for God's POWER to bring healing and
deliverance to those who are just as needful as the 'leaders'
who have influence.
Jesus took each of these
opportunities to Glorify HIS heavenly Father, not missing one
nor placing priority above principle. Losing 'sight' of the
overall picture, sometimes is our way of gaining 'ground',
when there could be the possibility of a POWERful
manifestation right where we are.
Our focus must always be upon what
the Father desires as to where and how we minister, led
continually by Holy Spirit urgency and not by our own sense of
what is more important for the advancement of the Kingdom of
God. Christ Jesus was focused upon whatever pleased HIS
Father, and we too must make that our focus as well.
For the sake of the Gospel, we
must be observant to all that surrounds us, for EVERY
opportunity to 'heal, deliver and set free' the captive and
hurting is the principle upon which the Kingdom of God
flourishes.
O'Lord, direct my heart to see the
need so close at hand. Stir my compassion for the needy, for
they are just as important as another. Send forth YOUR Power
in this hour as YOU deem profitable, for it is for YOUR Honor
that I be observant of those who are needful of YOUR Grace. I
have set my 'sight' fully upon that which brings YOU Glory,
fully alert to all that are needful of YOU and have determined
in their heart to 'press in', until they have been touched the
hem of YOUR garment. YOU are worthy to be Praised in all
things, as that Glorifies YOUR Holy Name. Amen

From Stone Age to
Meltdown!
Matthew 21:43-45 (Amplified Bible)
I tell you, for this reason the kingdom of God will be
taken away from you and given to a people who will produce the
fruits of it. And whoever falls on this Stone will be broken
to pieces, but he on whom It falls will be crushed to powder
[and It will ]winnow him, scattering him like dust].
God's WORD speaks of those who harden
their hearts to the Gospel, everlasting destruction awaits
them for that choice which I like to call the 'Stone Age'.
Refered to the 'Rock of Ages', Christ Jesus is our shelter if
troublesome times, a firm foundation upon which HIM and the
WORK of Holy Spirit stands for Eternity, neither moved nor
shaken. For those who reject Christ, God's WORD says they will
be crushed by the very 'Stone' that the world
hates.
Many years ago, I fell upon the 'Rock',
was broken into pieces over my rebellious behavior in the
sight of a Holy and Righteous God. Broken, is a term well
fitting the shame one has for their transgression, yet Christ
came and offered HIMself as the Redeeming LOVE that Forgives
and Remembers no more my quilt.
As Peter the Apostle writes in 2 Peter
3:7, By the same word the present heavens and earth are
reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and
destruction of ungodly men. This speaks of the degrading
condition of mankind, the increase of lasciviousness and
immorality as the end approaches. Often refered to as a
'Meltdown' of morals, this in every way is fulfillment of
Prophesy, and must not be ignored, as the choice to avoid this
judgment and destruction can be obtained in none other than
the unmoveable, unshakeable and Eternal WORD of
God.
Not left on our own to face such a
horrible end, Christ laid the foundation of the Kingdom of
God, as HE is the cornerstone upon which our Faith is able to
withstand the tumultuous churnings of the elements of the
earth. As earth rebels at HIS soon coming, only the Holy Fire
of a Loving and Righteous God is able to sear the heart of
man. Once this 1st 'burning' has taken place, then the 'Final
Burn' has no power over us, for it has been reserved for the
unrepentant. Christ is not just an 'Insurance Policy'. For HE
comes Reigning with 'Flaming tongues of Truth' in the hearts
of the repentant, destroying every work of wickedness, in
order that those HE 'Covers' has already had their deductible
met at Calvary 2000 years ago..
O'Lord, upon YOU as the solid ROCK
I stand, there is no other foundation that will endure that
dreadful day when YOU bring Judgment upon those who rebelled
against YOU. Cleanse from me everything that is not of YOU,
burning from me all that is vile in YOUR sight. Transform me
by YOUR Holy Spirit with that same POWER that brought LIFE to
those dry bones. Speak through my lips YOUR WORDs of Truth,
that others will choose to fall upon YOU and be broken, raised
again to New Life, and live forevermore. Amen

"Powerful
Proof!"
2 Corinthians 13:3-5 (Amplified
Bible)
Since you are demanding proof that Christ is speaking
through me. He is not weak in dealing with you, but is powerful among you.
For to be sure, he was crucified in weakness, yet he lives by God's power.
Likewise, we are weak in him, yet by God's power we will live with him to
serve you. Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test
yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of
course, you fail the test?
When Believers in Christ
die to themselves, believing in HIS resurrection by the Power of God, they
become subjects of the Kingdom of God!
Unless a believer denies the sinful nature of controlling
our own destiny, and they allow Holy Spirit to quide them into a greater
understanding of God's WORD, they will fail the test of
servanthood.
Having faith that Jesus is the Son of God, and that HE is
in you, being overcomers and witnesses of HIS Power, is Proof that the
servant honors his Lord and Savior.
We as Believers in Christ, possess the Power of God in
every area of our lives through Holy Spirit, who indwells and empowers
us!
The test of faith, NEVER COMPROMISING, in thought, word
or deed!
O'LORD, I ask for
a double portion of YOUR Spirit of Power and Wisdom, given and revealed as
I serve YOU alone. I confess my weakness, and Proclaim YOUR strength, unto
a world of lost and dying people who are without Hope. May Christ, who
lives within me be Glorified, HIM alone receiving all the Praise and
Glory, as HE is my Lord of Lords, and my King of Kings, Amen

"These Dry Bones Will
LIVE!"
John
1:40-43 (Amplified Bible)
Jesus said to her, Did
I not tell you and [a]promise you that if you would believe
and rely on Me, you would see the glory of God? So they
took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said,
Father, I thank You that You have heard
Me. Yes, I know You always hear and listen to Me, but I have
said this on account of and for the benefit of the people
standing around, so that they may believe that You did send Me
[that You have made Me Your Messenger]. When He had
said this, He shouted with a loud voice,
Lazarus, come out!
The
Prophet Ezekiel was taken by the Spirit of God and placed into
a valley of dry bones. There the Lord commanded Ezekiel to
Prophesy to those dry and lifeless bones, that they might come
to LIFE. John records in Chapter 11, the day when Jesus spoke
to the lifeless body of HIS friend Lazarus, calling LIFE to
come upon his dry bones and emerge from the grave of death.
The Lord desires for us as Believers today, to speak or
Prophesy to those who are dead spiritually, to receive God's
Spirit, becoming Alive in Christ, to the Glory of the
Father.
The length of time,
from when Lazarus was laid in the grave matters very little,
for Christ speaks both in Time and Eternity, calling forth
'dead men' to be resurrected to LIFE by Holy Spirit. To those
who witnessed Lazarus coming out of the tomb, raised their
voices in Gladness and Praise, that God had given them back
their brother and friend.
Witnessing something that miraculous in this day and hour,
would certainly be a POWERful manifestation of Resurrection by
God's Spirit in the natural sense. Yet, this happens in the
Spiritual realm each time a 'dead and lifeless' man or woman
recieve the LIFE of God breathed into their mortal body. A
True illustration of 'These Dry Bones Will LIVE!'
As Believers
cry out to the Father as Jesus did, we must be reminded of the
reason for which Christ wept. Our own hearts must be broken
with sadness over the multitudes who not only question God,
but also reject and ridicule HIS Son. Not that much has
changed in 2000 years.
The
fulfillment of God's Prophetic WORD given through Ezekiel is
manifesting in the bowels of the earth today. 'Dead, dry and
lifeless' bones, are being made Alive in Christ through the
outpouring of God's Spirit upon them. As Believers, we like
Ezekiel have been commissioned and empowered with the task of
Prophesying LIFE over those who are spiritually
'dead'.
O'Lord, release a greater anointing of YOUR Spirit into my
life, that I might Prophesy over the dead and they shall LIVE.
Stripped of all flesh, YOU will clothe me with an immortal
body that will never die. A valley of dry bones is a place
YOUR Spirit has taken the Faithful, direct us in Obedience to
complete YOUR Will in the earth.

"Walking by
Faith!"
Romans 1:16-18 (Amplified Bible)
For I am not
ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God's
power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal
death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a
confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and
also to the Greek, For in the Gospel a righteousness which God
ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to
faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more
faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just
and upright shall live and shall live by faith. For God's
[holy] wrath and indignation are revealed from heaven against
all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who in their
wickedness repress and hinder the truth and make it
inoperative.
So
many times I have been drawn back to the scriptural foundation
for which my Faith is sustained. This scripture MUST be the
only ROCK upon which my Faith is built, or the destructive
'winds' will gain strength and demolish every HOPE I have in
Christ, if my focus is distracted.
There is no other 'Source of Life', than that of God's WORD as
the firm base upon which my LIFE is able to endure the storms
that so often present themselves. This was no more evident
than when Peter stepped out in Faith to walk upon the raging
sea, only to take his focus off of Jesus, and begin sinking in
the reality of the situation.
Reality
will often play 'tricks' with our emotions, but the 'eyes of
our heart' must remain upon the Solid ROCK. The illustration
is just as relevant today, as are the WORDs of Christ spoken
to Peter as he was quickly sinking, desperate of the fact that
he was staring into the depths of a fierce and tumultuous sea
of hopelessness as that open 'doorway of
death'.
Walking
by 'sight' almost cost Peter his life, yet he returned his
focus and FAITH upon the one and only True SOURCE of LIFE. We
must deteremine in the last days to return our Spiritual eyes
upon Christ and remain undistracted in focus and application
of this Eternal Truth.
O'Lord, amidst the
billowing waves and howling winds that attempt to prevail,
Truly Focused upon YOU will I prevail. Doubting not YOUR WORDs
which call me to deeper Faith, I walk upon the 'waters' of
fear Triumphantly in Victory. YOU are my ROCK and my Light,
for none other provides my heart with LIFE that exceeds
reality or time. This day I cry out to YOU for those who are
sinking in despair, that they look upon YOU with HOPE, as YOU
stand ready to Rescue them from the depths of death.

"Rescued from
Danger!"
2
Corinthians 1:10-11 (Amplified Bible)
[For it is He] Who rescued
and saved us from such a perilous death, and He will still
rescue and save us; in and on Him we have set our hope (our
joyful and confident expectation) that He will again deliver
us [from danger and destruction and draw us to Himself], While
you also cooperate by your prayers for us [helping and
laboring together with us]. Thus [the lips of] many persons
[turned toward God will eventually] give thanks on our behalf
for the grace (the blessing of deliverance) granted us at the
request of the many who have prayed.
Surely Paul was by now
familiar with danger, as his travels had already provided him
with beatings, floggins and many nights impriosned at the
hands of ungracious people. Given direction by Holy Spirit,
Paul fully realized the dangers that lie ahead for him, as he
carried the message of Hope and Redemption to far reaching
places.
In one's own daily journey, seldom
do we find resistance, much less the depth of opposition that
Paul faced, unless you live in a nation that despises Truth.
It is in that moment of severe persection, does Paul lift up
his brethren in prayer, as he requests their continued prayers
for him and those who traveled with him.
What we as Believers are to gain
from Paul's WORDs are, that the short misery and pain that one
suffrer here in this life pales in comparison to the eternity
one will spend in everlasting destruction and sadness of being
separated from the Holy Presence of a Loving Father. Having
understood this, we realize the cry of the hopeless, and share
with them the Rescue Plan of Christ Jesus.
Thankful for the Grace extended
through Jesus, Paul urges us to pray for those who do suffer
greatly at the hands of the wicked for their Bold and
Courageous stand for the Gospel of Christ. Confessing that few
have suffered today what Paul and his companions endured, it
is our duty to pray for those who are.
For our pleas for safety are
answered by the Lord, through the Rescue and Deliverance Plan
of Christ, made available for those held captive who have but
to await their eternal fate of death, yet through our
Obedience, they are brought Joyfully into the Kingdom of God.
O'Lord, Comfort and Strengthen those who are persecuted
and tormented for YOUR sake. Cover them with YOUR Spirit, mend
their brokenness and delivery them from the enemy's snare. As
a Testimony to YOUR Grace, will many be Rescued from Danger,
and enjoy the Freedom and Liberty in YOUR Presence. Their
souls are worth more than gold and silver, bought with a steep
ransom, and given a prize of Victory, Life without end in the
safety of YOUR rest.

"Portion of
Fullness!"
Ephesians
1:10-11 (Amplified Bible)
[He planned] for the maturity of the times
and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them
up and consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and
things on the earth. In Him we also were made [God's] heritage
(portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been
foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance
with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with
the counsel and design of His [own] will,
The definition of God's plan for
Believers, is summed up in these WORDs of Paul to Believers in
Ephesus. Accordingly, it will be only those who respond by
completely submitting their heart to the Counsel of Holy
Spirit, will have a portion in the inheritance which Paul
refers to.
Christ Jesus came revealing the Kingdom of God, and the
Eternal Plan and Purpose our Loving Creator and Sustainer has
for all of mankind. Chosen as a messenger by Divine election,
Paul was Obedient to further this knowledge to other nations
who were before, left out of the Covenant God had established
through Abraham. The new Covenant now in effect, clears the
way for all of mankind to receive a portion of the Promise,
based upon the finished Work of Christ.
Consummated in heaven, when Christ sprinkled HIS own Blood
upon that altar, our union with HIM is as Paul says, made
complete as had been announced beforehand through the Obedient
and Submissive lips of God's foreordained Prophets. Surely
nothing happens in the earth, without first God revealing that
plan through the Prophets.
Certainly men and women both enjoy the rewards of this
inheritance, as God distributes blessings, favor and gifts to
those who belong to HIS family. This Good News of a Kingdom
offering Eternal Life through Christ Jesus was received with
such Joy, it is recorded that these who heard Paul's WORDs
destroyed their manmade idols and became Believers in
Christ.
It is Paul's final WORDs in the 1st chapter which
solidifies to the Ephesian Believers, the Truth about the
inheritance they receive by choosing Christ Jesus above other
gods. Ephesians 1:23 Which is His body, the fullness of Him
Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure
of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything
everywhere with Himself].
Today, many have relied upon manmade 'idols', worshipped at
altars which appals God the Father and have blindly traded
their Eternity of Rightful Inheritance in the Presence of God,
for the soon coming destruction and mayhem resulting from
their rejection of Christ Jesus. Their hearts turned to stone,
unwilling to relinquish control over their future, as their
Portion of God's Inheritance is given to those who receive HIS
seal of Holy Spirit upon their hearts.
O'Lord,
YOU are my Portion and my Inheritance, to YOU I give my life
to be used as an instrument for YOUR Glory. Direct me as YOU
did Paul, to Declare LIFE through Christ as Everlasting Truth
to those who have formed and worship worthless idols. None
speak nor move as YOU do upon the heart of man, both
breathless and lifeless, none compare to YOUR Majesty and
Power. Show YOUR Grace as sufficient, YOUR Mercy as complete,
through my life as a Testimony to YOUR Love so undeserved yet
Abundant and Free to all who choose by Faith to serve YOU.
Amen

"Greater WORKs
NOW!"
John
5:36-38 (NAS Bible)
(Jesus speaking) "But the testimony
which I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the
works which the Father has given Me to accomplish--the very
works that I do--testify about Me, that the Father has sent
Me. "And the Father who sent Me, He has testified of Me. You
have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His form.
"You do not have His word abiding in you, for you do not
believe Him whom He sent.
John the beloved of Jesus took to great lengths to
record HIS WORDs of testimony and works given by the Father
for HIM to accomplish. Should we as well, be testifying of
those WORKs to be accomplished, Declaring captives FREED, the
blind, deaf and lame HEALED, the lost and wayward RESCUED?
It is through the repetitious
Declaration of the calling upon our lives as witnesses, which
is fed by these WORDs of Christ, that literally ignites within
our hearts that burning desire to see others come to know HIM
who has known us since before we were born. Unable to see the
vision which Christ revealed by HIS coming, many will continue
pouring through the scriptures completely missing the
intention of it's mission.
This WORK which has been appointed
to Believers, is an ongoing, minute by minute, NOW calling.
What was in the past stays there, what is in the future is yet
to be fulfilled, it is in the NOW, this present day and hour,
where Faithfulness is of the utmost importance.
Clothing the naked, feeding the
hungry and restoring vision to the blind are the WORKs we have
been assigned, both physical as well as spiritual in
application. There are those more financially able to supply
the physical where others are in position to support these
WORKs spiritually. Have we been found guilty of 'robbing' God
of either?
Faith minus WORKs equals WORKs
minus Faith. NO Faith = NO WORKs = NO Faith. We must fully
comprehend what God desires of us, lest we be found wanting
when the day and hour of HIS coming is revealed in Glory and
Splendor. Choose this day whom you will serve, as for me and
my house, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD...
O'Lord, the burden of my heart was taken away at Calvary, YOU
replaced that with a desire to see YOUR WORK accomplished in
the earth through our lives. For me to LIVE is Christ, not I
that lives but Christ ALIVE in me. Direct my hands to YOUR
business at hand, for this is Pleasing and Acceptable in YOUR
sight. Provision is given to the Faithful, multiplication to
the laborer who is found doing YOUR Will. Grant me the
occassion to be a Testimony to YOUR Love, for that fills every
longing I have.

"Wonder Working
POWER!"
Acts 14:3 (Amplified Bible)
So [Paul
and Barnabas] stayed on there for a long time, speaking freely
and fearlessly and boldly in the Lord, Who continued to bear
testimony to the Word of His grace, granting signs and wonders
to be performed by their hands.
We must be
challenged by these WORDs as Believers, 'continuing to bear
testimony to the WORD of HIS Grace'. This and other Holy
Scripture, is a vivid illustration for us today, that those
1st Apostles and Disciples went boldly and fearlessly forward
Proclaiming the Gospel.
Accomplishing those 'WORKs and even greater WORKs' of which
Jesus assures us we are capable of. Given POWER at
'Pentecost', many signs, miracles and wonders followed the
Believer's Obedience to HIS WORD, and that continues as a
testimony of Christ today.
With the Power of Holy Spirit
resting upon them, Paul and Barnabas cast out demons, healed
the sick and lame and restored many broken and rebellious
hearts to fellowship with God through Christ Jesus. This
becomes our Direction and Purpose under the Anointing of Holy
Spirit, first bearing witness of Jesus as Messiah and Savior,
then boldly being Obedient to the Will of our Father, bringing
deliverance and healing to those who choose to accept Christ
as Lord.
There are accounts of foolish men
recorded in the Acts of the Apostles who mishandled the Power
of God, and one who thought God's Spirit could be purchased
with money. Only the repentant and submissive became heirs of
the Wonder Working Power of Holy Spirit, as the visible
manifestation of signs, miracles and wonders followed them as
the walked in complete Obedience to the WORD of God.
As Believers embark upon the 'New
thing' which God has said will begin when the Prophesied
return of HIS Son grows closer to Reality, our Destiny to be
Christ-like begins to manifest visibly for the Glory of our
Father and of HIS Christ. Daring to be bold and fearless, we
must resolve to walk in Obedience to HIS Will, bearing an
undeniable Witness of our Lord and HIS Gospel of Redemption.
For it is by our spoken Testimony
and the POWER of God that will transform the hearts of men,
and fulfill the mandate of Reconciliation given by Jesus to
those who serve
HIM.
O'Lord, baptize me
fully with YOUR Flame of Holy Fire, anointing me from head to
toe with the Wonder Working Power of Holy Spirit. Where the
blind, lame and sickly are healed completely and set free from
the kingdom of darkness. Sear my heart with YOUR WORD, to be
Declared and Proclaimed with Boldness, Fearlessly will I
respond in Obedience as YOUR Grace is sufficient to set men's
hearts at Liberty. Awaken YOUR people in this hour to the
harvest that is ripe, souls hanging delicately in the balance
of Eternity. Ignite within my heart YOUR Passion to accomplish
greater exploits in the Name of Jesus, with the Power of Holy
Spirit resting upon me.
Amen
